Instagram- ACD Users

I'd been thinking about getting Instagram set up for my next trip to the 'dam, and then I saw Panog mention his account.

I'm going to be using it for live reporting on my next trip. (Won't have my laptop so no fancy pictures until I get back ) In the meanwhile, my account will feature snapshots of my swiss life.

Any other ACDer's want to share your handle?

Yeah this app is fucking addictive, since I bought the macro/fisheye/wide angle lens for my Iphone I can't stop posting pics lol !
And there's a real network of stoners all around the world, pretty cool to see their pics

Just a little tip or two : if you wanna put someone in a comment just type @hisnick so he'll get a notification
If you double tap a pic you'll like it, far easier than the little heart button

Thanks for the tips Panog- I'm getting totally addicted already. It will work great for live reporting for my next trip! (And you all will probably have to suffer through a bunch of cow pictures in the meanwhile.)

You know what would be awesome? If people ignored the filters. Applying an instagram filter does not make you a "photographer"... it makes you someone who takes high-resolution, 8 megapixel photos, makes them look like crappy 70's polaroids and calls it "art".

The social aspects are cool, the filters not so much.

The filters are often necessary to make pictures shot with the iphone look good because it doesn't compensate well for low light. They subtly adjust exposure, shadows, white balance etc.

Also its not intended to be art- its fun though!
