I've never had much experience with Hash, it's not something that I've ever found really available where I'm from. Probably just looking in the wrong places!
However, on my forthcoming Amsterdam trip, I'm really wanting to try a few nice hashes. I've no idea where to start off though, I understand that different origins of the product offer different things... and some hash is REALLY sticky, Apart from that though, I'm stumped.
I'm just looking for a bit of general advice and recommendations of where to start off with this. Maybe some 'beginner' hash blocks to try? How do you prepare a good hash joint? In the past, I've just kinda took a lighter to the edge of a block and crumbled bits off. Is this the best way?
