24/7

Post by Xirukah »

Hello

In my introduction I said I registered myself in the forum because I'm going to AMS in February and I'm looking for some tips about the city. So, here's my first question. Me and my frieinds will arrive by 11.30pm at February 8th. So, it's a problem to find some room woth late check in. Is there any café, bar or something that works 24/7? Then, we just arrive at 11.30pm, smoke some joint untill 1am ( my research told me that coffeshops close at 1am ) but we need to find something to do from 1am to the sunrise. Now, my point is, in Portugal, if we go to a club at a thursday night, easily we back home around 8am. In amsterdam, is there some discos with late close??

Once again, sorry for my english!!
Cheers!!!

can't you and your crew book a plaace online in advance ... there's plenty of places that are open for check in at night for folks who arrive on late flights

Welcome to the forum.

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town and any Toke & Talks that are planned.

If you book at the Bulldog you'd be able to check in at any time of day or night with no worries - they have smoke friendly apartments too if that's what you're looking for.

Actually, we decided to go to a club in the first night. Thats why we're not looking for a place with late check in.

However, my research says that clubs in Amsterdam close at 4am.. So, between 4am and 7am, we have to find some place where we can drink some coffee or,.preferly, a pint of beer!!!

Hi, thank you dude!!

I'll be in the town since february's 8 to february's 12. So, the night I'm talking about its 8/9 February. Im just asking cause in Portugal, thuraday night is the best night because its the night of university students. And the clibs close at 7am, sometimds later. So, if there is a place like this in Amsterdam, it would be perfect.

Cheers mate!

I'm afraid you won't get a club opened to 7am on a Thursday..Maybe Friday or Saturday,I'd suggest getting a place to sleep for the night February is a cold ass month I wouldn't want to be wandering streets killing time in the freezing cold.

You have been posted on the February Whos In Town page.
Scroll down to your month and click it.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop
(your favorite) and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to
show up, if they do you'll have a T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your
favorite coffeeshop!

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.
Always ask first, better told no than thrown out.

There are plenty of places with someone at the reception desk 24/7.
If I were you I would find one and book the first night.
February is cold on the North Sea.
