Melkweg

Hi,
I'm in Amsterdam on Saturday for a week and going to Melkweg on Sunday.
Is Melkweg cannabis friendly? Does anyone know if you can smoke inside or if there is an area to smoke weed?

Melkweg has a smoking room you can smoke weed in. Depending how busy it is you can also get away with it in the concert halls but if spotted security will direct you to the smoking room.

last i went here for a cannabis cup event- smoking room so filled and smokey withcigarettes i almost threw upwalking in!

been a long time since i was there however i can echo the above comments. no smoking in the halls, security will catch you and send you to the smoking area which is full of tobacco and spliff smokers. i just run the risk and peng out the halls
