Majorly disappointed with MW3

Post by Taylor »

I got this game yet for me it seems to be just mw2 with some more guns. Nothing else has changed. It looks the same on amazon too, people are not liking this new game. I can exchange it for £37 which is nice for me as I payed £39.99 so 2.99 lost. oh well.

Back to Battlefield 3 for me!

The multi-player is like MW2 x Blops with the gun on gun action of COD4, Kill Confirmed is awesome.

Gotta agree Boner, Kill Confirmed is great online. Shame they havent sorted out the mics still. Some days my mates sound clear as day, others days they sound like they are shouting through a double glazed window whilst drowning in a large swimming pool. :?

Since Christmas is coming up, I've been doing a lot of research into video games for my stepson, and I don't like what I see regarding Skyrim.

Hey geoffk,

I generally find that a lot of the issues are with the parents... I guess they didn't see the big red 15 on the label before buying it for their 12 and 13 year olds. Usually from non stop nagging.

Nice to see that you have taken the time to research a little before buying. :)

Makes me cringe at some of the games people buy for their young ones these days. Even after being blatently told that the game is maybe not suitable for their kids. The response of "oh well, it looks good, I'll buy it for myself" never settles well with me.

Admittedly with the nature of the unscripted incidents the game gives, it maybe should be reclassified as an 18.

Annoys me too that on numerous occasions on Black ops I was told to stop swearing because someones kids are playing the game.. The occasional "ahhh fuck.. shot again" ect, not constant swearing mind.

Ffs the game is an 18.... and there is the facility to mute players you don't want to hear! Being told to fuck off, it's an 18 rated game usually does not go down well with them..

Rant over

That was a Xtian parody site that I "contribute" to occasionally. For the record I am a fan of Poe's Law. Seriously though, my stepson did want MW3, he had my vote. Mom won though :(

Thats because it's set up for 'quick scopers' - with the kill cam you cant really hide anywhere then add the revenge death streak and you've really nowhere to hide/snipe.

Kill Confirmed and Team Defender are both still awesome, I did get into the top 20,000 on KC at one point, now about 60,000
