The thing about ink Boner, is that perfection don't exist. I knew a guy with the most righteous ink done. Absolutely standout shit. The thing is, it was all perfectly placed, and balanced, and colored.

The guy was a walking artwork.

But that's the thing. It looked too made up. Too planned. It took away from the nature of ink itself: a deeply personal expression.

All he looked like was a museum object. Great ink, but no spontaneity, no life, no essence. Ah well, my $0.02.

I know what you mean and I'm not dissing anyones ink as I know it's all very personal to each and every person but because of how easy it is to buy the gear and because of the shows like Miami/LA?london ink every cunt and his dog thinks they can be a tattoo artist (the word artist is the most important thing imo) and theres way too much shit ink about which is why I'm so cautious of who (when the time comes) will be doing my portrait.

i aint got any tats yet, i really like the full on yakuza style sleeve with the bright colours ,
i was in casino on wednseday & some american woman was in there with what looked like her british banker boyfriend

the shocking thing is she was covered in gang tats (spanish), her chest,neck, hands fingers, it looked horrible, the tats looked good individually but it just wernt right, thing is she was real looker, such a shame

yep...they both represent my trips to amsterdam...from my point of view...the bottom tattoo is obvious with the xxx...the top one is a tulip...an ORANGE tulip...ALL the little things mean stuff...(and bong is a wonderful inspiration--we DO like each other...)

I will be getting my first tattoo this year... I have decided on this with modifications, such as more dot matrix, a little larger, different positioning heart instead of a spade... Plus secret stuff. But this is the basic Idea...
