Christ m8 - you are in the wars arent you?! Feel for ya stranded at home again!

Dunno what your experience is / atitude is towards nutritional medicine but you might wish to look up 'MSM' - Methyl-Sulfonyl-Methane - it's a pretty damn good super-supplement and I understand it plays a very useful role in repairing such structures as tendons and ligaments due to its facilitation of collagen formation - anyway - it's a natural substance and there is plenty of google-able info on it.

Fell off a ladder and broke my back, changed my life fore ever. The trouble with a hand injury you can;t really stop using your hand long enough for it to heal

P.s why can you not wash the wound after surgery for a week? any ideas?

coz atm i'm walking round smelling like one of these fuking walking dead zombies..... rotten flesh and all that!!!!!

You cant wash the wound for a week in order to avoid causing an infection - washing the wound before it's nicely sealed risks foreign bodies entering the wound. Looks proper painful m8! :shock:

You can wash that.. in fact its recommended to help keep the infection down. We tell all our patients going home wth stitches to wash with soap and water and dry it with a clean towel. It will make it feel better too

They said if i wash it the stitches could come out, I suppose I can wash t quickly,they probably meant don't soak it....

Stitches out in 2 days!! But can feel the tendon gliding and getting caught when I do my excercise, think its the build of of 2 lots of scar tissue now! ????????????

It healed up ok, Still some pain but back to work and saving for many upcoming dam trips.

Think 5-6 months off wrk for a fucking stanley knife cut was savage... Remember folks... Always cut away from you! :wink:
