Saw 'The Conjuring' the other night. Excellent piece of haunted house fim making IMHO

ps - and yes I know it plays as a 2 hour commercial for the Roman Catholic church but it is so well crafted that can be forgiven.
How much did you produce?

Style over substance - looked amazing in my stoned state at the IMAX last night, but the dialogue was so bad I agree with a review I read saying it should have been a silent film.

I watched Tony Jaa in 'The Protector 2' last week and it was shit! 80% of the action was terrible cgi, even the elephants were fake! All that was good about the original was gone. 1/10
So I went to the Cinema Monday night and watched The Raid Double bill- with a preview of The Raid 2: Berandal which comes out on the 11th. I loved the first one (came out 2011) and the second is just as good - the best action films in the last 10+ years -10/10 No strings or CGI just ACTION!

Decent fun sequel, looks good but lacks the substance/material of the original.

I have a strange urge, which I cannot explain, to watch Mulholland Drive again.

Keeping an eye on eBay for a Blu ray…
Over four years on ACD and none the wiser…
