Useful pronunciation tool

Post by Smith2 »

If you need to find out how to pronounce a Dutch name – and it can be useful, at least, to manage to say the street you're staying in, or looking for in a way that people understand – http://www.forvo.com is a wonderful resource, for every language, at least in theory. If the word you're looking for isn't already there, you can request it, and within a few days someone who appears to have a lot of time on their hands will probably come along and pronounce it for you.

What a great site. They even have a language of the day, which today is Indonesian.
Hang on to your head
