New Wave, Eindhoven

ACD Page: New Wave

On Stratumsdijk right by the lights, the parking is easy, it's just on the other side (of the canal) from Stratumseind (the bar street) so it's in easy reach of town and there are two easy hotels close by (Mandarin Park Plaza & Sandton Hotel)...

Inside, the counter greets you.. and also there are a few cabinets with smoking paraphenalia... and seeds. My friend bought 10x Blueberry for 64 euros.

Choice of weed changes weekly.. I bought a Ketama joint (hash) for 3 euros.

Smoking area inside is very expansive... we sat in a 'bedouin tent' styled booth area... it was very relaxing.. definitely the best coffee shop in Eindhoven (to smoke at) in my opinion.

so from outside dont look great weed hash selection dont look great either and wasnt utter crap in fact (stay away from the power plant) was only 10 for grams and you could get 5 euro deals too. we are not impressed but go through door to smoke and holly bloody shit!! imagine a 5 star hotel a real good one had a coppeeshop then that new wave. why have 1 big tv when you can have about 10 lovely seating it must of cost a fortune 2 lattes. for 3.60 euros. next trip stock up from pink and just hang out here all day had a lovely in great condition pool table and we got a booth area with own tv and fan bit getting rid of the smoke. cannot big it up enough in 5 years might look like a shit hole but right now it feels like the coffeeshop owner won big time on the lottery and spent it all on the back smoking area of this place. asked if they had sports channel as qualifying was on and they turned it over for us. my very rich friend bloody loved it and so did i shockingly it was practically empty but talked to some local youths, who were very pleasant and well mannered. so dont go here for the weed but for cheap drinks pool table and such a luxurious place to smoke in.

I think that made the wietpas :D U also see it in some shops in Maastricht now I heard (wietpas still active there). They taking much more care of the customer because there are not so many anymore... so they try to offer a real nice smoke location with many extras like playstation, pool and so on. Now the wietpas is gone in Eindhoven and now it´s a win-win for all :D

New Wave's interior is at least like that since about ten years. Not so much related to I-Criteria respectively Wietpas I assume ; as mentioned elsewhere went down a lot qualitywise after their closure(too much gear on the premises)like about ten years ago. Still indeed a proper place to socialise if it's busy, locals seem to buy and fly. Bit of wasted potential in my humble opinion.

Last week:

Here I planned on sitting down before so asked at the counter what's hot at the minute and was shown Amnesia  . Before that I already decided for their Candy Kush(10€/0,8g)though so went for this instead of my usual favourite strain of all time as an exception ; on the other hand it looked ok enough and it was 10€ for a gram which isn't pricy for Eindhoven.
Candy Kush looked quite average but at least had a kush smell which you could even taste while smoking. Effects were ok enough. Not much changed here inside but I enjoyed my time.
