Re: The Old Church 2 - Amstel (formerly Rokerij 3)

Post by Marok21 »

I asked the budtender if I could take a look on a few of their hashes. The Skywalker OG hash smelled best to me so I went for it.

Skywalker OG hash (13 or 14€/g) - Like said before it had a nice smell of the used strain  but it turned out
that it wasn´t like I thought at first. Pretty crumbly hash that doesn´t really stick together when pressing it with the hands... not really a good oil content for a hash in that price range :? in my opinion but well I had to smoke it to say more...
Before that I also noticed that it only bubble a bit when touched by the flame...
So I didn´t wonder that it gaves a pretty light high effect to me. Well you could say that it´s like a Sativa head high and the taste is pretty nice like the smell but in my opinion for that price it had to be more potent :?

Overall like said before the smell and taste in pretty nice like from the used strain but it sadly lacks in potency for that price... there are other hashes I would prefer over this one.

As far as I know Coffeeshop Willi Wortel Indica, one of the de Kroon Coffeeshops, Old Church and Rusland have a press.

Wouldn't surprise me if they were adding terps to bog standard pollen.

Was here over 420 week for a 'Press and Dab' session we had set up and we had a great time in this shop :D

1g Papaya Punch, a really nice dense frosty bud, which was pressed out and she gave a really good return of quality rosin to be dabbed
1g Strawberry Banana Kush another reasonable bud, but not as good as the Papaya in my opinion.

Overall love this shop myself and could spend most of the day here pressing and dabbing rosin and making my way through their menu and the staff are always extremely friendly when I am in. Overall one of my favourite shops when I am in town :D
Chase the Green to live the Dream  8) :D

Old Church 2

You're right. We seem to have posts about Old Church 2 in three threads - this one, one specifically for Old Church 2 and one for the original Old Church next to the eponymous building. I'll endeavour to sort it out ...
