Re: Green Place
Observed from larby of 1e Hulp on his Facebook page that greenplace is currently been shut down at the moment due to a shooting incident ( after opening hours) early Tues morning. Anyone confirm anything ? Was looking forward to picking up some shoreline next week. Could be another bites the dust or hoping it's temporary while authorities investigate.

Yep GP definitely closed I've just zipped past. Fear not - shoreline is on menus alone over town at the moment. Mr K, Voyagers, Siberie, de Graal all have shoreline. There are probably more as it all looks and smells like a similar pheno so I guess there's a lot around

I'll miss the Twizzla, but not getting short-weighed on it. Can't trust places that hide their scales so you can't see what your getting

Re: Green Place
Not necessarily, it has been known for coffeeshops where this happens to reopen, but it is usually pretty bad for their future.bundy1983 wrote:Is greenplace 100% closed for good?
Re: Green Place
What is quite scary, is that if you type Greenplace Amsterdam into Google, it's listed as "Permanently Closed".... Strange that somebody obviously listed it as being permanent, but who, and what do they know?

Re: Green Place
Anyone celebrating the closure of any shop and consequently the very likely case that the license of this shop will be permanently lost are either sadly ill-informed or just, well, plain dumb, sorry…
Whether you like, dislike or even down right loathe this particular shop, their products, their service or any other facet of their business is completely irrelevant, as the only real issue at hand is the dwindling number of licenses!
As long time visitors who have been away for a while it is gut-wrenching to see the already devastating consequences of the ever lessening number of active licenses, anything that contributes to or even worse accelerates this sad downward spiral is to be condemned and lamented, not celebrated or made a laughing matter the way we see it.
This being said it is also to us a loss more hard to swallow than most, should Green Place go the way of other great shops and be lost forever. Although many have reported bad service or rude bts, we have always found GP to deliver top quality products and they were one of a very few left in that entire part of the city now that the great Basjoes and legendary Nes are gone.
