Anyone been to Alanya?

Im going there in 10 days for a two weeks vacation with my girl and im wondering if this is the dryest place ever if you are looking for cannabis?
Or is it like other bigger touristcities with dealers walking around whispering in your ear?

Would want to hear about your experience over there.

Well mostly im curious however im about to be able to smoke while being there.

How do you find it, prices and maybe quality?
Will I have a problem if i stumble upon a police officer while wearing my cannabis jewelery and my eyes being slightly redish?

If you mean Alanya (Turkey) ...

I didnt come across anything there.
Its a muslim country with strict laws.
I didnt even smell hash when cruising the places around.
So i cant help you with that :S

But if you are in Alanya, wich is kinda EU tourist place you wont be able to
see much else then Cleopatra beaches

You can check Side if you are
interested in history (Roman ruins).

Also Pamukkale is nice to see.

For a real adventure i checked Kapadokya and i was NOT dissapointed.
Its an amazing landscape and u kinda feel like beeing on other planet

Please google some of the sites, you will be amazed.

Don't have a clue about the smokie out there. But I do know that Alanya beach is VERY nice...clear blue seas,white sandy beaches! We didn't get to go to Cleopatra beach unfortunately as the hotel messed up our transport so we missed out!

I do remember a gorgeous place run by Brits where you can get huge full english breakfasts,lovely!

If in doubt about the smokey, just walk around the townie areas and look out for any dodgy looking guys hanging around trying to make eye contact. Then say 2 them 'Nasil suniz' - which means 'how much'!Your bound to fins someone with something if you wanna risk it!

lol I think I can tell the difference between the drugs, i definitely know if its cannabis and yeah thanks for all the advices.

Would love to hear if someone actually have scored some smoke over there.
I mean cmon its a tourist place, there gotta be dealers selling to people. I would..

when we were there last year two guys asked me "hashish, hashish?"....but I could see in their eyes they wanted to rip me off. its not so easy to get a smoke there

be very carefull.

In Turkey if caught with drugs (and yes hash is a drug there) you can get imprisoned for years (Muslim laws!!).

Also be aware of the "strange looking guys".

I was in Istanbul once... and it happened to me....
I heard "hashish, hashish" ... followed the guys nest thing i had a knife to my throat.

They were Kurds and they ripped me off, but luckily they took my old yugoslavian dinars that were out of date.

its good to carry 2 wallets ... 1 with fake money and 1 with real.

When buying weed where it's illegal, my buddy and I have this method: one of us carries only the money we want to spend on weed, the lookout guy carries the other valubles and follows on the other side of the street and is prepared to jump in if necessary, the more people on lookout the better. If you feel uncomfortable it's probably best to not even try.
