Hunting for CBD
Hi all,
I'm hoping some ACDers on the ground can help me out - I'm on the lookout for high CBD strains in Amsterdam currently (or even "last seen in..." kinda hookups.)
It looks like Mr. K has Strawberry Waffle CBD (never tried it - sounds interesting). Otherwise I can't see CBD specifically mentioned in names or descriptions from recently posted menus.
Siberie has had some good CBD strains in the past - CBD Angel, Red Libanon Hash. Katsu even had a CBD oil for sale back in April (wasn't listed on the regular menu) - but I don't know the latest info from those shops.
Alternatively, are there any strains floating around Amsterdam that have higher CBD content, but maybe don't mention it in the name?
Any tips would be welcome. Thank you thank you!

Re: Hunting for CBD
Enemy of the state is a high CBD varietal that you'll see on a number of menus.
Re: Hunting for CBD
CBD are found more in suger leaves then bud ,Hence cheaper hashes will have higher CBD content e.g. Whole
Plant rubbed through silk screens . Most Morrocan hash is made this way ..good luck.

Re: Hunting for CBD
First: what macky said, most Moroccan classic hashes will have a high CBD content, judging by most results I've seen to a degree where all but the heaviest "CBD strains" are left behind...
Second: most strains with the label "CBD" aren't named like that to indicate a high (absolute) content of CBD, but rather to indicate a high CBD to THC content. In other words: there are many, many great strains out 5here with plenty of CBD going by names without CBD in them, they just have the bonus of also having a rather high THC content (which isn't necessarily what some medical users are looking for, hence the low THC and high CBD strains and other products emerging on the market).
Third, fourth and fifth point: Strain names in coffeeshops and in the black market in general are about as trustworthy as I am straight edge, so don't get too hung up on those...
Hope this makes sense...

Re: Hunting for CBD
That's a really interesting explanation as to the high CBD levels in Moroccan hash as the strains used are not historically weed strains you would consider very high CBD, compared to specialist CBD genetics.

Re: Hunting for CBD
Due to the drying method - hash also tends to have high levels of CBN which is a result of THC oxidising. CBN is also a THC modulator (it's a re-uptake inhibitor I believe) in the same manner as CBD so has similar calming effects.

Hi all,
Thanks for the advice!
I'll keep a look out for Enemy of the State.
Very interesting about the hash lead...
Cheap Moroccan - so, looking for example at the recent Katsu menu (this may be a go to shop for me soon),
I'd look at grabbing some Tidghine, Super Polm, Choco Maroc?....perhaps the King Hassan - I've heard that particular hash mentioned many times here - with lots of references to Tweede Kamer, I think. Would I be in the right zone there? I guess I'm going for weak THC effects vs plenty of CBD.
(this is really all for my wife - she prefers as close to 1:1 CBD to THC as possible = ultimately the more CBD the better - got spoiled this last summer in Oregon/Washington. She loves the CBD relax, but is easily overwhelmed by too much THC effect)
Also - how about the non-Morrocan cheap hashes - would these follow the same principle? e.g. the Yellow Libanon, or the very cheap Afghan black hash from Club Media maybe?
Thanks again
Any other high CBD ratio flower/bud tips are also welcome - I've got a lot more experience with weed than hash....(but does look like I might be branching out a little more soon...)
Appreciate you all muchly!

Most likely yes, any produt where the flowers have been sun-dried (or dried in a warm country to the point they can be easily sifted) will have similar properties.Largefella wrote: ↑Sat 16th Dec 2017 05:46 am Also - how about the non-Morrocan cheap hashes - would these follow the same principle? e.g. the Yellow Libanon, or the very cheap Afghan black hash from Club Media maybe?

The hashes to stay away from would be 'Neder hash' or 'Bubble hash' or 'Isolater' which are all names for the same thing: Hash made with ice water, generally from the waste product (leaf trimmed from drying flowers) of high THC content indoor grown varietals.

Re: Hunting for CBD
Cool, will do.
- some of those seem way too expensive in any case. Up to 80 Euros a gram...? I think it would take me years of consistent tolerance building to enjoy the price difference without just passing out - always been too skeptical to part with that much cash anyway...
Just saw Master CBD Kush on the latest Tweede Menu (and they've got a 6 Euro King Hassan). Looks like Tweede might be first stop on the CBD quest...pretty interesting menu in any case, I reckon.
Cheers as always

Re: Hunting for CBD
Tweede Kamer is a always a very nice shop to visit, so good choice!
Just remembered that Katsu had CBD bonbons in July / August, the lady BT gave us a couple for free with our other purchases as we asked what they were. Also seem to remember them having small shots or maybe a form of tincture in small bottles sitting in the counter two visits back and when asked the BT explained that is was "paranoia / panic first aid" for people who smoked to much. Judging by recent menus more and more places have such or similar products on offer, which could provide you with an alternative / supplement to the CBD heavy strains.

Re: Hunting for CBD
If it's the Yellow Leb from Katsu I would not recommend it, I smoked it in November as hadn't smoked Leb in ages. While I can't speak about the CBD levels it was low enough quality, you could get much better Moroccan stuff elsewhere for the same price.Largefella wrote: ↑Sat 16th Dec 2017 05:46 am
