@kermist82:
you should see it this way:
they let you buy without asking for ID, but its a big risk to let someone sit down who has no ID or isnt 18, they would lose their license if anyone found out, so they let you buy and then leave.
of course this is not the nicest, but hey, the rule is to carry your ID, if you dont have that you cant complain, can you?

edit:
ok, just saw this sentence
Should have just told a local police offer he sold me this and didn't ID us and got them shut for a lil while.
I take back what I said above, you`re just a total prick, go fuck yourself and see if the world turns out to be your personal slave...

legally they are not allowed to sell without id anyway, so they are doing it wrong. either i am a correct shop and insist on id or i dont. this is just commercial misbehaviour.

the shop is out there to make money right? I mean, its not like they are selling bad product.
I`d rather see my 16-year old kid smoking a joint he obtained illegaly than drinking alcohol he obtained illegaly, think about it ;)

they should never have served em without asking for id if they thought they were underage, sorry shady but selling good products & being there to make money is completely irelevant & i wouldnt want to see my 16year old kid smoking a joint over a pint of beer (which in amsterdam would have been legally sold to them :P ) both are bad, but in moderation alcohol wont give you cancer, smoking will

as for grassing the shop up because they felt wronged, a comment like this shows how childish they are, so no suprise they got id'd

No suprise we got id'ed ?

After the law break and poor service It occured to me the reason they wanted us 3 out was incase any Police where to shut them down, AFTER selling us goods. LAW break right there for ya.

Childish for feeling we had poor service ? and where short changed ?
I didn't know its childish to have an oppinion and believing law breaks should be dealt with accordingly ?

Oh shit almsot forgot its a precious coffeeshop, you guys cry when these get shut down even if they DO break the law.

as for quality, weed sell's itself. and reputations of shops sell themselves, for example word got me to goto MY years ago, but their own service being so poor on the 3rd visit I choose not to visit again. The weed is not anything to rave about, you can find nicer buds elsewhere.

So no reason to visit for me now, but some people find it hard to understand they still BROKE the FUCKING LAW! i guess MY is your fav c/s since your defending it in such a manner calling me a prick after i said We should have reported the law break....

If anyone is the prick, it would be that tall guy in MY who served us, took our tip, followed us to ou seat then asked ID from 1 person.

He's the prick!
I understand your name calling since i am in your eyes disrespecting your fav chill spot.

where you from? do you buy from an illegal source? would you RAT on your dealer if he sold you shit? would your dealer sell to you if he knew you were a RAT? would your friends call you a friend if they knew you were a RAT?
a RAT is a RAT, dont matter if its once or a hundred times, you come on a cannabis related website & say 'i should have RATTED them out, because they wronged me' & then start crying because your called 'childish' & a 'prick',
what did u expect? people to say 'oh poor poor kermist, he was id'd in a country where carrying id is law    , yeah go kermist, we support you in being a RAT'
if you had a problem with the guy, tell him to his face, not run away crying on an internet forum (like a child).

In holland I follow the laws since i am a visitor.
But it's okay to have shit service in Holland I find, with no exception since they provide what u want, many of u accept rude service because your happy to buy there product.

Calling me a rat now? No need for insults.

I didn't inform the police, although their shoddy service should be reported so people don't occur the same treatment by that tender.

I knew someone was going to mention the 'black market' where the same rules do not apply in countries with different laws, obviously.

Would it be acceptable to purchase drinks in a bar, say 50euro worth of products, to be tailed to the table and asked for id?

THe sale of goods is fine aslong as we are leaving???
Shite service!

I shall carry the passport at all times so this problem will not occur anywhere else.

If it makes you feel good call me a 'rat' but that got nothing to do with being told to do 1 after being spending nearly 60euro because the guy did not do his job properly and ask for ID prior!

Not my fault broke the law, just my fault no passports which would have sorted it.

Do you enjoy long threads? i do.

Your calling me a rat because of a statement i made after my trip.
Also you call me a child for either making or not acting on the statement.

Not allowed to post reports of our positive and negative experiences?
Without being called a child or rat? Am glad name calling is accepted here but i won't venture in to that it doesn't entertain me sorry.

The moral is MY ain't worth a visit :P
yadda yadda yadda
am actually very bored of writing this now

@Kermist82

The fact that you said "Should have just told a local police offer he sold me this and didn't ID us and got them shut for a lil while," sums up why people think your a rat/wanker. Your complaint, which has validity (they should ALWAYS ID before purchasing or seating, always give correct change) means nothing when accompanied by your selfish and inane suggestion to run to Johnny Law. Are u that petty to do this? I would hope not, but the mere thought or suggestion that you would run to the Five-O for something like this is troubling.

yeah, i know you dont see any danger in canabis, but it still is illegal to sell to minors. you can argument anyway you want, but it is just hypocritical to first sell and then ask for id. their quality is another issue, sure you adore them, but i have had bad batches there and aparrently others even had moldy buds.

I was fucked off! Wouldn't you be?
If there was a police fella outside i prob would of moaned on way out so be known to them this guy broke the law and can't do his fucking job, nice 1 for satisfying and ripping off a customer! But to go searching for law, means going out of my way, on my holiday which i would not have done, followed by stupid fucking statements.

Plenty other places sell higher quality buds, OLD AMSTERDAM, BARNEYS & DAMPKRING 3 from my head!

I still don't understand why people kiss ass of places that do provide a bad service, i don't give a shit if its the first place you ever visited in Amsterdam with sentimental value, the place can still sell SHIT buds, and provide bad servoce like ANYWHERE!!!!! defending this place like a fucking bitch now!

They broke the law, i wasn't happy with poor service, felt wronged, had a report on here, left what i felt at the time of posting, which is 'childish' since i did not write this and leave it at MY or give it to the police, elseif i would be a rat in the eyes of Pauli who suggested a nice image about using firearms to deal with people after calling me a 'Rat', not exactly nice.

See that you make me do? writing all this!

hehe guys, I can fully understand why he raged about the first-buy-then-ID-and-out-thing,I would also.
but on the other hand you should be thankful he gave you the weed without ID-ing you, he just didnt want to risk his license

@baked:
before chasing a shop for selling weed to minors you should think about the thousands of shops which sell alcohol to minors...I dont think they should take any drug, but you know it yourself, when young you want to do it and there will always be a way....let it be the older brother who doesnt care :)

Honestly, I would rather have been refused a purchase because of the id situation, that would of been understood.

No complications then, I would have to go elsewhere, not a problem.
As we did where not following the laws we could not argue about where old enough. But would be pointless.

Other places have things to offer too, shop around more.

First place I smoked and I enjoyed it. 1g of Blueberry and 2gs of Silver Haze. Both nice smokes and a very relaxed place to go and sit down and enjoy a drink. Will definately be re-visiting in october.

A new item has appeared on the menu:

Oranje Haze €9 p/g

In celebration of the football perhaps, anyone try it?
