Good veggie food

Post by angel-headed_hipster »

Hi,
I'm off to Amsterdam tomorrow and just wondered whether anyone could recommend any not-too-expensive restaurants that have a good range of vegetarian food as well as meat? I'm going with my meat-eating boyf. and Chinese and Italian food are particular faves with both of us (I don't like Indian).
Sorry about the late notice, my membership just got approved as I only found this site a couple of days ago. But... I may have internet access in my apartment so might be able to check this site while I'm there.
Hello to all though :D
Hope anyone going to Amsterdam around now has a fantastic time!
Thank you x x

more-restaurant-style would be the bulhoed(prinsengracht 60) or www.greenplanet.nl both on my to-do list 4 my next visit.

coffeeshop paradox in the jordaan makes very delicious veggie burger, maoz as mentioned above is the best fast-veggie. or arrange a veggie menu at wok2walk.
goin almost tomorrow..

I’m vegetarian and ate in Bolhoed once a few years ago. I seem to remember sitting around a big table with lots of other customers (very Dutch) and that the food was good. I also like Vliegende Schotel (the Flying Saucer).

It's been for sale for several years. The owner wanted to move to another country.
