1st time in the Paradise - JUNE 10th

Hey guys! Wassssup! I am so happy I will put my feet in the Paradise really soon! I will go with my wife (I am 30 and she is 31) and we´re planning some nice turistic rides, PLUSSSS go to these coffeeshops:

- Barneys Lounge - do they have the same quality weed of the Barneys?
- Basjoe
- Green Place
- Rokerij (Jordaan)


I would love to get some opinions about these.... Am I on the right spot? Spot? I love it ! hehehe

It may have just gotten lost in the fog, but I don't remember it being incredible and it was expensive, 15e if memory serves... Heaven Haze from Basjoe and Champagne Haze from Anyday were my personal favorites.

The general consensus on the board here so far is that Liberty Haze is shit and not worth the money. Don't put a lot of stock in Cannabis Cup winners it's all rigged anyway...

One curiosity (sorry for such a stupid question lol): does the weed come already cleaned for us - just make it in powder and put on the paper - or we need to do something before? Because I don't know if I need to buy the manufacture material hehe.

Yes the weed comes ready for you to smoke! Just roll it and away you go...it's a lot better then what you get in brazil

Im trying to think of any specific places my Brazilian girlfriend liked more then others when we have been...but well I cant think of any..she loved all of it :p especially the batatas...

Part of the fun when you go for the 1st time is exploring everything...but if you want some specific ideas then I would say check out the travelogues section and see where people have been recently and have had a good time!

abc123: Thank's for your help. I am sure the weed is at least one thousand times better then Brazilian hehe... in fact we smoke some kind of ammonia here, but we're used to - it's all we can find, if you know what I mean. hehe

About the coffeeshop, I was asking for something more cozy, not so crowd, with good ambient, comfortable seats, and maybe a relaxing - not rock and roll - music. I am not sure if that exists, but seeing the pictures on the web the Barneys Lounge seems a lot like that. If anyone can help me giving me more tips of options like this, it will be fantastic - I will also open a new thread in specific part of the Forum.

FlyByNite: Many many thank's for your help mate. I will study all your tips for sure. Yes, unfortunately is a very short visit, but I will come from a trip of 4 days in London and 4 days in Paris, so couldn't stay more in Amsterdam (no money, no funny hehe). Plus, I don't think my neurons would handle more than 3 days hehehe

I'll try to answer your questions:

Barneys Lounge does have a nice atmosphere like that, and they have all of the same weeds as Barneys. They tend to be pricey, but I've always found nice weed there. Amnesia can sometimes be crowded, and sells many of the same weeds as the Barneys stores, but during the day especially I find it pleasant. Club Media is a little to the south, but really worth a trip. They have some of the best weed (soil grown and organic, tasty and clean) and a nice non-crowded atmosphere with comfy seating. I also like 1e Hulp to the west- not quite as upscale, but comfortable and nice weed.

That's what we call meetings of forum-members. Someone picks a shop and a time and whoever's around gets together to smoke and share information. They are a lot of fun.

The weed comes like this:

Basjoe's Cheese and Amnesia Haze

Shops have papers and cardboard filters available to make joints with. I like to carry my own grinder. Many shops have vaporizers and bongs available for use as well.

The travelogues are the best place to get information on shops, that's where I do my research.
