help with area please guys

hi we just returned from Amsterdam booked again for end of march but staying in area never been before carnt find a emergency coffeeshop really close to hotel lol any info please, also my friend has told me not to stay in area of the hotel its not a safe place but my other friend says its not that bad confused lol, any info on area would help please, we will be staying at the hotel Nieuw Slotania Slotermeerlaan 133

It looks like Watersnip and Old Times are the closest and neither is that close. Perhaps, you should investigate what Tram or bus to take into the Centrum

hi we chose this hotel purely on price on last min cheap deal with flights, the agent said it was near vondel park suppose it is near vondel after you pass a cpl other parks first lol their is tram/bus outside hotel goes central distance not a problem, just like to know bit about area we staying in.

the hotel location is ok its between haarlem and amsterdam, so think we will go to haarlem for day try a few coffeeshops their on this trip.

Stayed there two or three times myself, and pretty much end up getting the bus into the centre, can't really say of anything much to do locally there, there's a smallish shopping precinct just over the road (oh, it's nowhere near Vondelpark, so you been a tad misled there!).

There's only one close CoffeeShop deWatersnip, about 10 minute stroll from the Hotel, if you like hash, get the "Hiya" from there, lovely smoke, one of my faves
