Stoniest smoke in town?

Post by couchlocked »

I want minutes to seem like hours. I'm tired of manic head trips. Weed preferred. Thanks!

it depends what you're after really, cannibas has three types but the most common are sativa and indica, sativas are usually like the hazes and the lighter coloured buds which gives you a clear high which makes everything seem funny and causes laughter and distraction, indica on the other hand makes you more chilled, relaxed and munchied and can make you want to spend time alone to think. So sativa is good for the day time and indica is for the night time. The bud tender will know what you mean if you mention the two

Thanks, I've been to Amsterdam a few times. I'm wondering what's best at the moment among mostly indicas. I'll just do a day trip, so I won't be able to visit more than a few shops. I must be very sensitive to sativas - I get manic and stay up all night. I miss the bullet time and couchlock effects.

Well yeah then you want to ask the BT for a nice chilled indica to soothe you, red the eyes and just wait for couch lock, nothing better!

The Cheese that Homegrown Fastasy had a couple years ago did the trick remarkably well. Their Cheese has had a pretty good reputation over the years, however, I haven't had it recently. Has anyone tried HGF's Cheese lately? The most guaranteed method to achieve your desired result is purchasing some Grey Area Crystals/Kif. It will stone you to your core. I believe the Crystals at Grey Area come from unpressed hash derived from an old strain of weed called Grey Mist. Since you prefer weed you might want to ask GA's budtender about the Grey Mist weed. You can definitely seek a recommendation from GA's extremely knowledgeable budtenders.

One of the best weed recommendations I ever got came from a budtender at the original Dampkring's. I asked for something similar to what you want and he said I should get some "Ol' Skool Sunk." It was one of their cheapest items but he was very enthusiastic about it. I bought some, smoked it there, and it was one of the best smokes of my life. It wasn't as massively strong as the GA Crystals or the Cheese I tried at HGF, but I felt this awesome aura of relaxation and wellness. I have that menu from Damprkring and the only Skunk I see is priced at 7.5 euros and called "Special Skunk." Maybe I just got lucky that day with an exceptionally good batch. Anyway, if you have that cs in your plans, you might want to ask about their Skunk.

The Green Place also has many Kush strains on their menu. One of them ought to do the trick. Oooh, that reminds me of Grey Area's Holy Grail Kush from my last trip a few months ago...

For more hash/Ice-o-lator: It you want to really splurge see if Barney's has any "Barney Rubble" hash. It was my biggest splurge ever in the Dam, at 45 euros a gram. I was staring at the walls for hours, examining every spec of paint.

That sounds like Super Skunk you are describing. I had some over at Siberie in late Sept. 2012 for 8-9 eu a gram. Had a nice stone on it but also that feeling of well being.

Siberie is actually a very chill, artsy place which might be the kind of cs you want to smoke in to feel completely relaxed as opposed to, say, the Greenhouse in the RLD on a Saturday night. It's in perhaps the most picturesque part of Amsterdam, which is a very peaceful area. I also find Kadinsky (the one on the little street with the book stores) to be a nice relaxing low key place to relax at night.

Yeah, go with the Indicas and stay away from the Hazes/Sativas, but like redeyezman says, also go for more of the hashes, Indian ones, temple ball, or something like the Otta from Bluebird, for me they always add a good comfortable heavy stone to the spliffs

Wow - thanks for all of the recommendations! I'm sure I'll find something to bring me to the brink of respiratory arrest.

Can I just say, Siberie was the first ever Coffeeshop I visited, I love the place. Very chill and the budtenders are so friendly. They do a nice White Widow shake mix which is good to sprinkle over any other joints or bowls to supercharge them.
