Awrite guys. Just got back from an awesome five days in Amsterdam. Gonna stick a wee log on here, most of this was written at the time, but only did that for day 1 unfortunately. Every day after this will be a lot more brief, dont worry.

Wednesday 12/9/12
14:00
Woke up about 9. Snoozed alarm until 10:30. Got up, packed, showered, met kris and v for a joint at the gas box then jumped on a bus in town. First stop - subway. Loaded up on some fine wholemeal carbs and then into the dreaded oak mall for some much needed accessories. Aviators, shoes and joggies purchased, it was time to head back to make the drive to the airport. 

19:30
On plane. Airport went smoothly until we had passed secuity and went to WHSMITH to pick up a copy of 'Mr Nice' by Howard Marks, that i was halfway through but had forgotten. The teller asked me for my boarding pass, which i realised i didnt have, along with my passport. A frantic 20 minutes of swearing, sweating and general freaking-out followed, until we realised Kris has been holding them in his hand the entire time. 


21:00
Plane flew in (no pun intended) and we arrived 30 minutes ahead of schedule. Spent 20 minutes trying to get train tickets, as they all only took debit cards. Eventually found the sole coin accepting machine in the entire station, and after missing the fast train ( which we stupidly paid for ), we jumped on a 20 minute ride to central station. First encounter with a Dutch shopkeeper wasnt great, he got really pissed at Kris for not speakin Dutch haha i was ragin nd walked out without buyin my tobacco. 

22:00
Got outside the station, and after receiving directions from a random cyclist, stumbled into voyagers. The rain was pissin it down. Vishal started freakin out due to his phobia of cats, but we decided to sit and have a joint anyway. Budtender was an english guy with  a dreadlock mullet, was insane haha. Really sound guy, recommended the kushberry and said we were cool to roll up with tobacco. Stuck £1.50 in a vendin machine for skins, which promptly stuck, and so Mr Dreadmullet had to come open it with a key, grumblin about how he would rather spend more time actually sellin weed haha funny guy. My phone had died with the instructions back to the apartment, and so he kindly pulled them up for us on google maps. Unfortunately he gave is the number 62. We were house 6, flat 2.

After findin our way onto the streeet, we stood in the pissin rain for half an hour trying to find number 62. Considering the street only went to about 30, i eventually realised what the guy had probably done. Went to number 6, and sure enough, on the top buzzer was 'acbb' or amsterdam central B&B.

Made the 2 minute walk from the reception to pur apartment, and stripped off our soakin clothes. All of kris' clothing had been soaked in his bag, and with it, all the ironing he'd done before we left. Honestly that is the last thing i can remember from that night, and it was only 5 days ago.

Tried to finish this many times but always failed. Was far too high to remember the next few days as i hadnt taken notes haha.

Definitely writing it each day in the dam next month!
