Checked prices, as I am heading to the dam in a week or so. Naturally get the feeling before the trip started how its gonna be when its over, so already looking to book another trip, with that being said I checked hotel prices and as of now its like 250eur avg for any decent room i have searched, which if its super nice close with lift and or balcony sure, but these are more basic rooms. so I suppose ill have to splurge if I am gonna go in April unless anyone has any other suggestions, checked atlantis, alp etc all sold out or thru the roof.

Seems like there are now a few botels on the Oosterdok. Much like there used to be on the IJ behind the station many decades ago.
Might be an option for anyone looking for accommodation.

The prices on a few hotels , have changed 4 times since last week, lol up, down, up , down, price gouging should be illegal like here in the states

Yep prices for rooms/apartments are Crazy

Hotel Di-Ann on the Raadruistraat still has single rooms some with a balcony, its not the best but is ok for a few days in town and also on that street are The Sharm and la Belle Vue all have rooms available over 420. Might need to play around with your dates a bit though

Yeah , im looking further out, bedbug city imo on the ones you mentioned , i found a few places im interested in, prob. Staying out around the Vondelpark area. Was looking at salt apartment by Baba, but took it off the list today.

I'm thinking about just booking an early flight on 20th, an early flight home 21st and no hotel. Bars will close around 3am then I'll head straight to the airport.

Yeah man, that made me laugh. Like I said not the best but ok if someone was stuck for a place over 420. I personally wouldn't stay there myself, although I have stayed there before and it was ok, apart from the 4 flights of stairs. The other 2 places mentioned I have no info on. I had a quick scan over places and all the usual places I would use while in town are fully booked, looks like a lot of places are nearly fully booked over 420 week
