good trippy smoke

hi all, I'm heading to the dam mid march and i'm only there for 2 nights so i really want to make the most of it. I usually smoke skunk that is grown in the uk and i usually find myself sat infront of the TV trying to understand the simplyist of programs. what i want is to get tottaly out of my tree while in holland. does anybody have any good (tried and tested) recomendations as to whati should smoke?

i keep reading about sativa's and so on but it means nothing to me... (so far) i'm researching the issue right now but 1st hand experience is priceless... so any advice is very much appreciated

Sounds to me like you'd want to sample some of the stronger indicas (indica often produce the "couchlock" effect where you don't wanna move). If you can find any "cheese" in town that will surely do the trick. Read thru some of the newer trip reports for the latest news on what the hot strains are before your trip.

Mazdog is right there youre best to keep checking back here and read up on the travelogues before you go away. That way you get the most up to date info, the people here are goin all the time.

Simple explaination of breeding:

Sativa = Cerebral High.

Indica = Heavy Stoning.

...sorry if it's a dumbass question, but can you define "cheese"... i doi like the cheese i have in the fridge, especially once i've managed to break free from the magnetic pull of the sofa but i thinks there is more than one meaning...?

Chesse and BlueCheese are some highly elusive and incredibly strong strains that keep popping up in the dam in the past year or two. When a crop is available it goes VERY quickly. I was lucky enough to get some BlueCheese from Bluebird and it was incredible...i floated the rest of the day.

i was there a couple weeks ago, i suggest a diesel strain. the red diesel from barneys was incredible. the high was very smooth and the taste was fantasic.

I would recommend the NYC Diesel from De Kuil (420 Cafe) at €10 per gram, this is a very strong Indica that has a high buzzy taste but leads you to a heavy stoned (indica) feeling!!

Not forgetting your original request...trippy smoke...you might find the Sativas are more your thing. Stick with stuff with HAZE in the title and you will be safe.

Thanks for all the replies... I think that as I travel late afternoon on wednesday 15th March and return late PM on the Friday 17th I should just about have enough time to smoke... and my aim is to smoke 2 variaties when I arrive on the Wednesday, 4 variaties throughout Thursday and 3 varieties before flying home on the Friday... all the top quality smokes too..!! that way I should be able to really fligh home on the Friday...!!... actually as I'm reading through that list it looks like a really high target I have set there... must go get some practise in, only 4 weeks to go!!

Out of curiousity, how much do you guys buy/smoke when over there..???

TBH m8 I have no idea. I generally go gram by gram until I find something I like and perhaps get a bit more of that. I prefer to sample lots of different smoke than buy a 5 gram bag that ends up hanging around for a few days...mainly because I cant help buying more from each coffeeshop.

Normally stoned within about ten minutes of arriving at Centraal Station and thats it for he holiday. Wake up, get stoned, have breakfast, got to a coffeeshop etc... (Damn it I cant wait...11 days to go....woooohooooo)

mothers finest(a powerplant hybrid) or jack herer...those are good trippy smokes.the laughing, stoney heavy eyelids kind of highs we all enjoy.
the jack was one of my favorite strains completely,very strong...causes slight trails,heavy laughter,overall dopey body high.

I got some mothers finest from NES cafejust off the dam square. Dam fine stuff it was too. Laughed my head for an hour fro no reason whatsoever. Also cherry bomb was very good too.

Bought about 10g in 2 days when i was there (last thurs friday). Just buy a gram of what you want instead of more then if it takes your fancy invest and enjoy. My days are very much like REDEYE'S. Smoke, breaskfast, Smoke, Snack, smoke.............etc.
