I was on about the view on street view, the catermarans (sp), i don't doubt people live and work in the area,I know the area it's in, we have used the motor home campsite that's right by it twice, never knew there was a coffee shop right by us thoughspidergawd wrote:People do live and work out there, it's to serve the dockers and seafarers who may not have the time or inclination to go into town. A lot of the container ships often have a 6 hr turnaround, and you might have to work. Believe me these places are lifesavers if you only got an hours lunch break to stock up.
I think I will make it a mission to visit this and the other one, I was planning to get a hotel at Halfweg, (literally half way, between Dam and Harlem).
