Shroom Harvest
On attempt #2, we have shrooms to harvest today. Received via mail, it is advertised as Thai ps.
It will be challenging for me to relate it's relative merit, as these will be my first shrooms (interesting but long story). Fortunately, my partner is more than well versed in shroom consumption, so I can pass on his perspective as it becomes available.
On a related note, the cannabis harvest was disappointing. Nice, dense fragrant tricomes rich buds that lacked potency across the batch. I would hate to think I was skunked on my purchase of 'premium' seed and hope it something I failed to notice during the process. My fem COB has been mothered and ready to try a clone batch now that my light is fixed.

My partner says what we harvested was about two $50 batches and they're all remoistened and sealed hope for more.
I ate 1/2 of what he says is a mild hit, now that its 20 minutes later about 1/4 more (one half on one beautifully blued stalked shroom)
I will save the last 1/4 for after another 20 minutes and see how it goes

OK, so now after 1.5 hours I am definitely feeling not as 'high' as I should be so I call my partner and ask him how he is doing.
'Feeling anything?'
'I don't know, a little.'
'Yeah'
"Take a little more'
'OK, talk to you later'
'You feel anything?'
'Whats that Doctor?'
'What?'
'You're the Doctor'
'Oh yeah ... do you FEEL anything?'
'A little'
'Take a little more.'
'OK, talk to you later'
'Bye'
I took one more small mushroom, like the others only 3-4 inches long and slim.
This one I split horizontally into 4 sections, it has beautiful blue veining through the stalk
I ate one quarter and then another, its woody and earthy and I like it

I find myself in that state described by the tripping young man at the Bulldog Lounge.
The part where he wasn't sure he was high, and it hit him. The beginning of a long story.
A long story my presence was the end to. This was my last night in Amsterdam, and like the fool I can sometimes be, I booked my flight out too damn early (7:10). I spent my last day in the Dam with an afternoon nap and a midnight alarm. I love mid day naps, when the 12 bunk dorm rooms are mostly empty. I notice that people are generally ultra polite to day sleepers and I blissfully wafted into and out of many nice quick dreams. My alarm woke me from a deep sleep and so I pulled myself up in the darkness and readied myself. My bag was already packed so I just needed to shower and dress, careful not to expose the room to undue light.
When I went downstairs I was joined by another man from the room. I went to the bar and began talking to my friend bartending. The guy from the room came in and sat beside me. He was quiet, neither David or I knew him, so I said 'How are you doing?'
'Fine, thank you.'
'Good'
He seemed to want to be there, but not to make conversation. No matter, the beautiful mayhem of the late night lounge raged around us. He remained quiet, becoming almost invisible and then after a long while he said 'Thank you'
'What?'
'Thank you!'
'What for?'
'For saving my life.'
'WHAT?!'
'For saving my life.'
'What are you talking about?'
'Your snoring, it saved me.'
'WHAT?!'

....
'Well, it all started with Mexican mushrooms'
'Okay..'
'My friend and I ate some and after two hours we thought we got beat, so we bought some Thai and then ate those.'
'Okay, I am with you, then what?'
'As soon as we swallowed the Thai shrooms, the Mexican shrooms seemed to really kick in.'
'Was that a good thing?'
'No.'
'What happened?'
'So many things.'
'How many things?'
'So very many, myriad upon myriad of things, I thought I was going to die.'
'Why?'
'SO many THINGS going on ALL AROUND ME.'
'I see.'
'Yes, I know.'
'What?'
'Nevermind.'
'No really, what?'
'You're snoring, it saved me.'
'Help me understand that part.'
'My friend really tried to help, he was great. I don't know how long or any of that but it became unbearable for me to be around so much STUFF I retreated to my room hoping to be alone. You were the only one in the room so I took the bunk below you, at first to keep an eye on you because I trusted nothing and everything was bad. Eventually, you fell asleep and began snoring in a very deep, slow and steady rhythm. I felt there was goodness in you. It was like a lifeline to me so I stayed as long as I could because eventually you got up and came down here. Which reminds me, can I buy you a beer?'
'Hell yes, then let me buy you one for a great story.'
