You claim to be a 40 year old French/American living for ONE year on the rail lines of Europe, expert on Expat Immigration, European Tax Laws, Customs, Police, Border Controls, Drugs, Amsterdam Accommodation and much more besides. I don't think that is quite the real picture, but no matter.
If you are not a troll, and have a genuine interest and desire to engage in what most ACD members think is a really great place, then perhaps you need to work on your interpersonal skills a bit.
What you obviously haven't taken the time to find out about this place is that in terms of experience you are one among many.
At 62 and a lifetime of toking and ducking and diving I am still on a learning curve and this is a great place to be educated, by many kind, considerate and above all very polite people,
Good manners cost nothing and bring their own rewards and the ability to take on board a view different to your own is also an asset.
You should try it some time.

There are always meet and greets being posted, have you got yourself round to any yet while you are there in the 'Dam? DC works in a coffeeshop go and introduce yourself, I haven't met him myself yet, but he sounds like a pretty cool guy.

Peace :?

And if you are the troll, well I tried.
How about this for manners: Go fuck yourself. By calling into question my veracity, you become the troll. I said I have traveled between Paris and Ams for over a year FOR WORK, therefore I got to see people busted. I did not say I lived on the rail lines of Europe.

I will continue to offer my advice after living here for a while, plus 9+ years living in other parts of Europe. Certainly, I don't suffer fools gladly, perhaps that is why you and I won't get along.

I am sure that no one will miss the irony that your little whine-fest here broke your own rules of civility, not to mention the board rules. Tant pis, l'hypocrisie est vivante dans votre vieux cerveau.

I am no fan of internet pissing contests, but I would have to say Spiders post is spot-on. I wouldn't argue that LSD is a living organism, however refuting that claim by saying it couldn't live on blotter paper is a thin argument. How does a flu virus live on a doorknob?, but I digress. There are a million ways to communicate with people, and I don't know a soul who wants to deal with someone who only has confrontation in his conversational toolbox. Does he offer his European advice in the Form of "Hey asswipe, here is a cool place to go and have fun, hope you choke to death"? Perhaps he could save the time of posting here and publish a "Dickweed's Guide to European Destinations."

"Internet bad asses" are a dime a thousand, they come as cheap as ice in Antarctica. I don't really give a flip about marco one way or the other. I find indifference towards that type to be quite enjoyable. I will agree he does not sound like he is 40, but perhaps chronologically he is.

Before I forget, his impressive French was in the neighborhood of "Nevermind, hypocrisy is alive in you old mind." (brain, whichever). Maybe one day he will entertain the board with differential equations to further impress.

That being said, I return now to indifference.

Now my real post... Ive heard the term Laced since the 70s, rarely, but occasionally it is a truism. I have had a hit from a pcp (angel dust) laced Joint once, and would not ever want to repeat that experience. I had never heard of opiated hash before, but I have some of both and am not even mildly interested in mixing them. Opium is like sugar, and has that beautiful aroma, but I love the smell of a great Polm too. There are tons of really nice, black, sticky hashes out there, but why the hell anyone would want opium in it is beyond me.

Whoever said Opium is non addicting is way off, it was the scourge of China in the mid to late 19th century. Of course it had been used prior, but not in such numbers. It is less addictive than Morphine (the next step), and morphine is less addictive than Heroin (the last step). Any opiate can be addictive if used frequently enough.

Ive grown away from opium more and more lately. I bought an ounce of it in early summer, and it may be half gone at best, Id rather now I had put that money on some good Polm instead, but such is life (C'est la vie for marco), albeit loosely translated. Mais il est plein de merde, donc quelle importance? That was for our friend's enjoyment.

Hello extremepain, that's a heavy word to write man and I hope that it doesn't describe your condition full time.
Your digging up this thread has given me the opportunity to re-visit my comments, and as you say they may be spot on , but I have to say on reflection I find them quite pompous and confrontational, and I wish that I had really given more thought before I wrote them, and joined, as you say, in an internet pissing contest. A more positive and humorous approach may well have engaged Marco in a more fruitful exchange, and I hold out the possibility that as some one who uses several languages Marco may well not be familiar with the subtleties of idiom in English. A very tricky subject. Insulting and challenging words can be and often are very matey in the right circumstances. So there folks, if any one still reads my posts, I apologise for being a cantankerous old bag of wind on this and one or two other occasions and I beg your indulgence. I shall refrain from similar critical comment in future, which to be honest is not difficult on the ACD as people are very friendly here and I will lower the tone no more.

On topic. Back in the early '70s I definitely remember Temple Ball that reputedly contained opium, although the flecks in it were white which in my limited knowledge opium is not, but it was brought back by a mates brother who had spent a couple of years on the Eastern hippy trail so I had to take his word for it. What was it like? To be honest I can't remember, in those days one stone just seemed to lead to the next one, and it was 35 or so years ago so I'll leave it at that.

Peace :)
What a long strange trip it is.

That was my understanding of opium hash that it was like afghani black with white specks through it ? but as you point out SG opiium aint whit (maybe when refined but surely that would`nt be classes as O)

And as i have never seen or tried it i have no idea if its an urban myth or not ?!

Peace out brothers n sistas
