Ciscos big time BIRTHDAY BONANZA ! Day 1 !

This is the first travel report I have written so please bear with me , I have kept a journal when travelling
But that was solely for personal reflection ! I kept a small book with me for notes and also input info on my phone . I had a great trip and I hope this report does it justice !? Enjoy and feel free to comment cheers for now hope to see some of you all at next years 420 my first 420 trip , sit back light up a spliff and enjoy peace out !

To say I was looking forward to this trip , or perhaps needed it is an understatement ! I have been having a bit trouble at work lately which nearly resulted in me being fired !? Thankfully its all roses now !

So I had initially been thinking about making my birthday pilgrimage to Amsterdam since about Dec 08 in fact probably before that as I have to book my holidays well in advance , for example I will have to book my holidays for Apr10-Mar11 in October this year ?!!!! I booked my trip in March sleazy-jet £65 return not a bad deal .

Edinburgh-Schipol 27th june-01 July 07.10 . I had booked my taxi the night before for 05.50 , so im up and about for 05.00ish rolled 3 spliffs off my last bit generic home-grown ! So manage to smoke a couple of them before the taxi came , you know what taxis are like for being late ? So I was pacing back and forth waiting and the guy was actually early !? Lol ! So I jump in the back of the taxi and straight away the dude turns round and says “have you been smoking wacky backy ?) wtf great start to my trip a tug at security !?! But it turned out the guy used to smoke so ended up having a good chat with the guy !

Got to the airport for about 06.10 bumped into an old work mate who is recovering from testicular cancer !!? This is a young guy ! Respect to you mate and hope all is well ! Got through security no problem so my skunk aftershave must have wore off by then ! Lol ! Uneventful flight over but as soon as that flight landed the pulse rate quickened and I hit that ground running , I only had hand luggage so I came bounding onto the train station concourse like a bowling ball (im sure I got a strike)! My pace slowed down by a huge queue at the ticket machine , I have a tip for you if you put your card in the machine and it gets spit out time and time again IT DON’T TAKE THAT CARD MO FO ! Lol got my ticket and I only had to wait about 5mns if that for my train to paradise ! Yee-ha ! As you can imagine I had a massive, probably manic smile across my face , sun shining on the train to Dam what could be better?

Arrived at Centraal around 10.30 or so and again hit the ground running with my perma grin ! I’m sure I was chuckling away to myself for being back in the land of dreams , so got my groove on and headed over to Greenhouse lounge on Haarlemmerstraat , my plan was only to buy and fly as I wanted to head to Dampkring 2 for my first spliff ! Anyways I walked into the shop the bud tender was walking out so I proceeded to smile and say good morning but the dude stood at the door for about 5mns ! No probs he comes over I know what I want anyway as I enjoyed it so much last trip in Nov08 LEMON SKUNK , although it is now called Lemon HAZE !? Is it the same ? I also bought 1G of their OG Kush . When the dude was weighing out my first G the LH he basically gave me the shake at the bottom as it was nearly finished so I asked him to give me a bud instead but he pretended not to understand me , although with the OG he did give me one bud (I should have asked when a fresh batch o the LH was in but I jus wanted a doob off it and being my first spliff of the trip I was not really bothered)

Headed over to the Dampkring 2 and was made more than welcome when I first went in I put my bag down and the bud tender dude remarked on the book I was reading (fear and loathing in las Vegas) so ordered a coffee , borrowed a grinder then ran up they stairs to my normal seat on the top level. First spliff of the trip Lemon Haze and to be honest I should have tried something else , as I have mentioned I got shake so couldn’t really give you my thoughts on look of the bud etc, so ground it up and it had a faint lemony smell , rolled that sucker up and savoured that bad boy ! Imho this stuff was way to rough on the throat and yeah got my buzz on but nothing special !(I remember on a previous trip after 2 or 3 doobs myself my cousin and two mates were sitting in Rusland and I had that uncomfortable buzz on ! Anxious thought I had pissed myself ! Lol a wee walk sorted that though) I never sat around there for long as it was a nice day outside , so decided to walk over to the Warmoesstraat to the Greenhouse effect where I was staying . Outer Space room €65 per night, I could not check in yet as it was only about 11-11.30ish so they let me leave my bag there and I was off to explore with instructions to come back about 14.00ish.
Went next door to the GHE coffee shop as I was told at the hotel reception I would get a discount , so ordered a €10 bag of the chocoloupe and got it for €8 along with a lighter ,skins and roach book all stuff I needed so total bonus. Roll one up off the choco straight away I think this was my first try of this and I could Taste a chocolaty taste somewhere on the taste buds dark velvety bitter !? Finish that and im off into the day !

So just strolling about good music on the ear , smile on the face , decide to take a walk round the Red light district nothing really catches my eye (I find sometimes you go through the RLD and you will see some stunning women and other times they all look the same nothing special) while im in the area I popped into Greenhouse Centrum , nice friendly good looking waitresses as usual . Ordered myself a drink and borrowed a grinder , sat down and rolled a spliff of the OG Kush I had really been looking forward to this , nice looking bud with purple bits through it but tbh I was not that impressed with it ! Bit rough again like the LH so that ended up being my only purchases from any of the Greenhouses this trip . Big disappointment as I have said on the forum the Greenhouse was my favourite coffee shop. Off into the street again and decide to have a look at some shops , the Fila store not bad sale on couple of sports shops some not bad sales on ! Decide to try and find Home grown fantasy c/s I have been wanting to visit this c/s for a while and never made it on previous trips , after a false start I see the sign from down the road yee-ha found it at last ! So I know what I want before im even in the shop ! Lol CHEESE I have read so many good reports on the forum I had to try it !? Semi friendly service get €10 cheese and €10 sour diesel order a drink sit inside and roll a spliff off each and head outside to read my book enjoy the good weather and more importantly two spliffs ! Aahhhhhhhhh at last now that’s what I call nice tasting weed the cheese was tasty not as tasty as the Sour diesel but nice they both had what I call the juicy fruit taste. Sat outside for a while reading my book chuckling away to myself , I got talking to an English guy and his GF he ended up giving me a bit of polm from the GH as they didn’t like it !? Cheers fella . As I was sitting there I was just people watching and looking around , I noticed a police station across the road with flagpoles and in my semi stoned state I was wondering if it was a police station during the occupation (ww2) and could imagine Nazi flags fluttering in the breeze !?! WTF ?! Imagination is a powerful thing ! lol

Time was getting on a bit so headed back over to the hotel to check in , on the way picked up a subway (chicken n bacon ranch wi bbq n honey mustard)MMMM!So get the key for the room head up the usual steep Dam staircase to my room (cupboard)lol ! Tbh not bad room small but everything I need table, chair , bed , TV ,sink , shared shower , toilet out in the hall right next to room though ! Got myself sorted roll a pure cheese spliff for after my munch. Was feeling a bit heavy lidded after my munch n spliff rolled another spliff of the Lemon Haze sure the taste was there but nowhere near as good as the L Skunk ! Mental note to try the Lemon Haze from Rusland (a recommend from Twichaldhino) So I had my chill on jus chilling in the room smoking had another choco doob as well ! Sitting in the room I was sweating , but it was good jus chilling , sitting here in Amsterdam window open ,bags of different strains of weed listening to some church bells ! Nice cant beat holiday time ! Decided to get freshened up and go get some proper food ! Out and about for 5ish feeling a lot better after a shower , headed over to Burger Bar (Boner) ordered myself a 20oz black beef on Italian bread with cheese, bacon , onion medium to well done !nipped into a wee shop picked up a tin of Heineken a quick stop at Siberie a great wee c/s been coming here for many years got a G of SSH €10 jus rolled n strolled !headed down Singel and eventually found a nice wee spot to enjoy my wee picnic , all I can say is YEE HA great burger cold beer , and a tasty spliff oh yeah!it was nice just sitting by the canal for a while sun on the face, watching the world go by. Got myself together took a stroll down the rest of the Singel popped into the Puma shop then headed down to the Leidseplein into Ben and Jerry’s for some ice cream(strawb cheesecake/cookie dough) popped into Rookies c/s Romulan €8.50g I got €10 tbh cant remember much about this weed taste or effect ! Headed back to my room after more spliffs and more walking around ended up crashing out about 9ish I wanted to go back out but hey 4 more days to go !

Nice report, very detailed, yoo have done well to remember all of that, keep it coming.

The chocolope still reccomended ?

If you ever get into Th seeds at around 4.20 ask for Adam, see if you can get any of his Lemon Skunk, highly reccomended.

Great read , really looking forward to the rest.
Can you some up which strains you disliked ; obviously the lemon haze was not great , and neither was that shoddy bottoom of the barrel service.

Great first day m8, sounds exactly how my day flows.
Outerspace is well small but as you say comfortable

And that burger sounds awesome and sounds right up my street

TIP...If the machine spits your card out and its a debit card, select credit card and try again with it. My Visa Electron Debit card only works on Credit card setting in the ticket machine and locker storage
