Acro Hotel

Back in january, when it was still -10° Celsius, We (Me and my Girl) stayed at the Hotel Acro in Amsterdam for 3 nights. We had a clean and spacious room with a nice bathroom and a big beautiful window to the street (Jan Luykenstraat). We had an ashtray and there were no smoke detectors The Hotel is in walking distance to the Museumsplein, and for example the Noon was about 5 min walk...
I found the hotel in the internet and called them right away. I tried to speak dutch with the receptionist, wich worked out to be pretty easy. He then told me, that i didnt need a reservation, and we should just "come over". I asked for the price, as there were some special deals in the internet, he said 45 € per night for a double room?!! (thats the special deal)
When we checked in, the pricelist said 90 € per night for a double room, but we were still asked only 45 € taxes included when we checked out
breakfast was included, but whe didnt manage to get up before 12... shame on us!!
really nice hotel, although the rates seem to be a lot higher in summer
next trip, we will stay at the Abba Hotel
