Ah fuck it, we are all going to die anyway. You walk down the street you breathe in crap, Do the housework you breathe in crap, infact no matter where you go you will be breathing in crap. All potentially a killer.

If the butane is tasted then you need to put some weed in that joint

i sometimes have a horrible butane taste when smoking hash in a pipe...

I can 100% understand that m8 as its going to be shooting down the pipe as you suck. Therefor i can fully understand you wanting the bee line if you are a pipe smoker.

yep... i wouldnt light a joint with bee line... its just for pipes or hits from a small bong. i think ill only use it in CS over an ashtray, no need to burn down my hotel room

but a lot of ways of "trying to make smoking healthier" are just ridiculous, in that point i agree with all of you... bee line is just for the taste in some cases

well i was born back in the days of zippo lighters and before butane

when i started smoking hashish, we used matches both wooden and those little cardboard ones in a packet

then as more chemicals were added to the match (eg stuff to make it light more easily and burn better), i started to use the match to light a wooden toothpick and the toothpick to light the hash

then i knew i was inhaling no chemicals

and that is how i have done it ever since ...

they are readily available in most of the good headshops in at least ontario and vancouver. i have seen it in both provinces.

they have it sorta on a roll so its actually quite easy to use. the negative i find is that when your trying use it in a bong sometimes it doesnt light it up quick enough. my prefered lighting method is a nice torch lighter. heats it up fast and you dont have to sit there inhaling so much butane from the regular lighter. i also find it makes the bong hit less hot on the lungs. if that makes sense.

its also kind of expensive . i think they are a buck or two each canadian in the head shops, maybe more i dunno and they burn sorta fast

there not bad for pipes tho as you can keep the flame hand away from the pipe and its a bit more comfortable this way..

damn this hawaiian big bud is good.. lol now im rambling
