hi guys, i need some help please, am chonging my way through amsterdam 3rd and 4th sept and would like stay in the (albert cuyp) area. I need a place 2 stay (1 night) and have a budget of about 35 euro, I have not so far visited this part of the city and after reading recent travel reports no that i need to. Also have any of u walked from this area to dam square, looking on the maps it looks like a good 20 min walk. cheers guys, any help :?

Sarphati Hotel or Bicycle hotel but i doubt they will be as cheap as you require, probably around Euro 50.

The walk is around 20-30mins and is a pleasent one with plenty of time to toke a couple.

Thanks 4 that kermit, think ill stay at the "usual" just by popeye, its cheep as chips, grab some nice bud and stroll on down 2 albert armed with a few splifs. cheers i cant fuckin wait ya hooooo

albert cuyp market is in or near the de pijp area correct? if so i stayed in an apartment in this area..near cs papillon during my first trip in 2006. liked the area. like said before a long but nice walk to dam square. was confusing to get to at night when stoned though.
educating myself and waiting for the next trip.

hey, the hotel is called Quentin arrive, as i say its about 30 euro and is on the oposite corner to popeye, its very basic but clean enough, i had a single room on my last visitin feb, about 2 in the mornin was woke by a right cheeky little mouse truying 2 drag my bin outof the door, i fuckin miss that dude

i have just booked "hotel quentin" it cost me 54e, i think they have charged me 4 the mouse that i left behind :lol:
