saying that...imagine an outta control 7 yr old running thru a campsite at night bare foot.....yes he kicked the biggest hedgehog i ever saw....boy did my son scream hahahahahaha :lol: .............poor hedgehog

Tell me about it! Their quills are sharp as hell and sting like a bitch when you get poked. They actually shed them quite frequently and I've stepped on my fair share of stray quills. Definitely not something you look forward to when you're stumbling to the bathroom in the middle of the night :shock:

I had a dog when i lived in the sticks that barked & barked when he seen one,Lol he was more curious than anything else 8).

We had a raccoon come in through our cat door and shit all over the dryer. I want to trade up to a hedgehog.

Haha, yeah there are lots of hedgehogs in New Zealand, even in the cities. You often see them walking around which is really cute, even the big ones! But I think a lot of them get hit by cars, you see them lying dead in the gutters quite often. But when they're alive they're pretty sweet! :D
