His writings have been scrutinised quite a bit over the years. People have claimed that he invented Don Juan, & it's all fabricated from his own imagination, & that's certainly a possibility. No one can rule out that, just as no one can rule out that it's possible it's a true account to his experiences with Don Juan. That said, his first 3 books are IMO an alternative form of anthropogenic data. When using psychedelics the perspective of the 'tripper' is always going to be different to that of the reader, so while I wouldn't dismiss his early work as "fictitious physobabble" I'd also be vigilante when reading his later works. In a nutshell, the concept he was trying to bring to us isn't a new thing he invented, it's existed for thousands of years but as I said in a previous post, it's all what you take from it.

peace.

My husband really wants to try DMT but haven't been able to find any info on how to attain.. we've read lots about how it can expand the mind - and i think it is amazing is in every living thing and you use when sleeping.
..on the DMT subject, saw it for the first time a month ago, redish/orange sugar-like crystals, terrifying to be honest, was put off by the guy offering it who said 'it opens up doors of the mind so you have to be ready for that, i can still recall the trip i had 10 yrs ago and had it last night again and..' then his girlfriend gave a vivid account of how after one big toke by the time he exhaled the smoke he was waving his arms like a windmill and shouting wooahh..etc etc only lasts 10-20 mins from what they were saying but is the ride of your life type of thing, he insisted I smell it and put it right under my nose which was scary cos Im sure even one crytsal snorted by accident would have been a disaster...wishing I had been braver but still shudder when I think of the only major acid trip ive ever done and bitterly regret...mushies are nice and soft and fluffy and giggly, acid isnt! From memory it was £20 for enough for one good smoke (they put it in a J)...real space cadet stuff I think, I find reality fragile enough TBH... :D

The likelihood of me finding some is most likely slim to none - but seems like it could be quite a interesting ride
