I hate to burst your bubble, but mushrooms are no longer legal in the Netherlands.
You could always
Grow Your Own.
Enjoy

there are still some shrooms that havent been on the list, which are being sold in the smartshops, so dont worry
but its the same in germany, its really hard to get them, or at least you wouldnt trust all of those guys who want to sell them to you. a regulated market would be nice!

I would say that the life of a native dutch man -- must be nice, relaxing, and free of negativity, --- ---- wish i could say the same for here..
Were you high when you wrote this? Rubbish.
Yeah, all the Dutch do is eat shrooms and relax. No one works, has kids, fights, poverty, addiction. All that stuff does not exist here, since mushrooms are available. There is no racism or anything. The whole PVV party is just a hallucination, so is the recession here.
Wake up you idiot.

I really want to encourage people to grow their own mushrooms.
ITS SO EASY!
There is several good shops on the www that sells you already done growboxes and you practically dont have to lift one finger yourself, just let the box stand and mushrooms will appear.
Its not expensive either.
From the site I buy my boxes from it cost 37 euros and maybe 3 weeks later your box is filled with beatifull shrooms ready to be devoured
I hate to hear people are having it difficult to find shrooms. please send me a pm and i will help you with an url or something. peace

Smartshops in NL have always sold Peyote and San Pedro. The San Pedros are okay concerning quantity/price. Peyotes are really small babies and always cost about 15/20€ - if they are bigger you pay much more.
You can get`em much cheaper on ebay. But watch out - it´s not the same if you grow them only as an eyecatcher or to seriously use them one day. The concetration of alcaloids contained in an amount of plant material is higher if you don´t use fertilizers and the peyote grows slower. The peyotes sold on ebay mostly have grown faster, which means the concentration of mescaline and other alcaloids is lower. So you will have to eat more of it to get the trip you want. I don´t tell you news if I say that it is better to consume as less as possible because most people feel bad at the beginnig of the trip.
So it makes sense to buy a small peyote and grow it at home for several years until it´s old and big enough.
For all who want a faster way to get a mescaline trip I´d recommend to buy San Pedro - but the Peyote is - of course - much more fascinating - and it is a real "alcaloid-factory" which produces more than 50! different alcaloids.

I have had many years of wondering about peyote in amsterdam...
That is pretty expensive, but better yet is that you say that it is available....
Something to consider when making my plans to amsterdam....
More about peyote is it cool??
Read 'Carlos Casteneda' The Teachings of Don Juan, a cool book - in the 70s a U.S. student became the understudy to a Mexican shaman, and peyote was central to his many bonkers experiences. I would add though that many consider peyote to be rather specialised, very full on and for the more experienced spiritually minded and brave space cadet only. In mexico they are not taken for recreational use, instead to shape-shift, astral travel and for entering the 'spirit world', they would be the last thing id take for a laugh, stick to the hawaiin or thai mushies for that, or even better goold old english psylocybin mushies if you know where to find them..
