I joined Facebook as everyone I know kept telling me that I was missing out. I joined and then 4 mins later I deleted and expunged my account.
I don't trust that site, Rupert Murdoch now owns, in any way.

Funnily enough same here....lots of people joined the police and now act like idiots just because they want to prove what they become.
Although i do use facebook quite a bit, more of a piss take with friends and our photos than anything serious!
The original post made me laugh, but it might be a blessing in disguise if she hated her job that much haha.

I was on Facebook for a number of years, got it before it was well heard of. It was useful for keeping in touch with Uni mates and such. However...
I then commenced full time work, and made it a rule not to add anyone from my workplace (that way they cannot see any of your information). The problems then arose when my bosses started asking me why they couldn't see my info, and what have you got to hide etc. etc.
Deleted it and never looked back. Twitter is where it's at now anyway.

I like facebook to keep in touch with mates and family, I also like the facts that I get invite and discount for parties in london, discount at some shops, and I love Mafia Wars and a few typing games on it.
I dont put anything on facebook that would get me in trouble at work.
And twitter is shit IMo, Myspace is soo 2006 lol

Glad I haven't had to submit a resume for over 10 years. I had my "interview" at the bar across the street
