Shot glasses around the 'dam?

Post by metal4mullets »

This is a dumb question, I know, but are there plenty of little touristy shops that sell shot glasses? Of course, as soon as my co-workers and friends found out that I was leaving for the 'dam in a few days they're all like, "Hey, get me a shot glass, man!!". Now...I have to pick up at LEAST three shot glasses

Have people seen them all over the place...or anywhere specific? I really don't want to have to hunt for them...

I got a couple last year from a soveneir shop on the Leidsestraat (EVEN THOUGH I DONT DRINK) Just liked the look of them whilst i was stoned, so would have thought most soveneir shops out there have them.

Most of the souvineer shops have got'em.

However, for something a little special visit the ROOR Shop @Sint Nicolaasstraat 19 1012 Amsterdam and get a few of theses beauties . . .

whilst you are there you browse the extensive bong range.
FYI ROOR bongs can be rented by the day from the shop.

I'm not familiar with those shops. Are they department stores or something? And are they scattered all over the place?

That would be nice to be able to pick them up for a little less money :)

If you're after touristy ones then I'd just get them off a shop down Damrak, some coffeeshops have them as well.

Twich, Kermy, Bone, and Sombrero: Thank you very much again for all the info :)

Walking around, familiarizing ourselves with the area, and scanning for these shops sounds like a good first mission for Friday when we arrive. Well...really a good second mission because we all sure as hell know what the FIRST mission is going to be :D
