do not stay at this hotel. The housekeepers are thieves. Yesterday morning i went for breakfast then popped to the shop next door then when i got bk to my room, found that they had been in and half tidyed the room and helped themselves to about 3gram of my very nice amnesia haze! I am not impressed with this i have spoken to staff and they are tryin to say sumone might have climbed thru my window, what a joke im on the 3rd floor. Apart from this problem im absolutely lovin my first trip and am already planning my next trip and i havent even finished my first lol

Cheers for the warning, enjoy the rest of your trip.
Off topic, I've spent many a night in high town and many a day in low town.

This is slightly concerning as I plan to stay at this hotel this month...maybe I will put any valuables in a safe or just keep with me. Usually if I am staying at a hotel only for a few days, I request no maid service anyway. The way I see it, there is no need to have someone else come through my room when I can make my own bed in 60 seconds anyway.

Totally agree we stayed at the Best Western Blue Tower , left the " do not disturb " up the whole time we were there , and just to make sure also asked the cleaners not to come in , in our case it worked , no problems what so ever .

I always hang the "Do not disturb" sign on my door whether I'm there or not and before i leave for the day i strip the bed of it's sheets and my towels and put them in front of the door , new ones are there at my door when i get back , now there is no need to come inside my room , works every time for me with no complaints from the front desk(s)
