i do. canabis is quite a dangerous drug because it is not obvious. you can smoke for years but sooner or later your brain gets it and you have a psychosis

wtf? a psychosis? i dont think so. i know many very succesful and smart people who have smoked herb for over 30 years. i personally dont think smoking some ganja will lead to any type of psychosis... maybe some weight gain but no psychosis.

also back on topic.. dont attempt to bring your kid to a coffeeshop or its terrace. if i were there puffing away and someone walked in and sat next to me with a 1 year old.. it would make me feel very uncomfortable as i dont enjoy smoking right in front of children. im sure many others would be a little uncomfortable with this situation. my father is a psych and always tried to keep me off weed for this reason.
some of my friends got anxious and paranoid after years of toking.

Do not believe everything you read in the paper, or from your father. I am very famalir with this research. How it was done etc. The person presenting in that article is exergating the figures. It breaks down like this smoking cannabis before 15 can cause it in those predisopsed to it. It rarely happens in those who smoke weed later in in life .Another imporant thing this information came from testing on mice, IMO animal expermints are not 100 percent trusty worthy because animals are different then human beings. Example chocolate is deadly to dogs but I never heard of a human oding. Also one of the cannanoids in pot is an anti physotic and is being devolped to treat schiopherena. Most people can smoke lots of weed for a long time and never be effected. IMO it is not something to worrie about unless your a teenager 15, and have physciois in your family. One more thing it only has been shown to increase the chances of pysch probelems in those at risk and not by much less than 2 percent. SO RELAX but back on topic this is a good reason not to take your child to a CS.

there has been a study last year (or at the beginning of this?) which said, only 5% were ABLE to get a psychosis, and its not even sure if all of those 5% would get one while smoking....its just they can get it, but that can also happen with other drugs and situations....if you were one of those 5% then you could get a psychosis because your wife leaves you, your dog dies or whatever....

Your an adult though man, so its a different kettle of fish. Dont stess it, it would of been more ignorant to ot ambit your ignorance, if that makes any sense.

All these studies about how cannabis dosnt cause mental issues may be true. But i was more concerned with the fact that the child had no say in the matter, if the child when they are adult and of sound mind wants to consome cannabis thats fair enough, but at least wait untill they are able to make that decision.
