Cant believe stuff like this TBH ! yeah sure dont come to Scotland and punish the local people who have no voice (apart from democracy lol) And i might get round ma city a bit better ! bloody tourists ! :lol:

on the real though ..this is silly. scottland has the right to make their own political decisions just as any other country does. and im not boycotting them either..they make delicious shortbread cookies and irn bru. 8)

If he was found guilty by a court of law then he should serve the sentence he was given. If that involves dying in prison then so be it. I would do the same for any murderer, no compassionate release, just compassionate visit by family. Maybe I'm just a cold hearted bastard though :P

If ever there was a signal that this conviction was unsound, this is it. Not a great deal of compassion shown to the families of Iran Air Flight 655? Where this all started after the US government downed this civilian flight, killing all on board...

On another tact, seems to me the only people that really get punished by our penal system (UK) is people involved in financial crime. Commit rape and murder your fine, defraud a bank and you are fucked! :roll:
