shroom growing kit legal in UK?
had a great trip on truffles, will add report soon - leaving back to UK tomorrow, saw some spore grow kits, heard it's legal to get them for 'research' purposes? but wondering if a grow kit is worth buying. notice you can buy some stuff online to be shipped. can anyone advice?

Anything with psilocybin is illegal.. therefore the spores are ok, but a mycelium that just needs watering is a class a, with all the penalties that entails. Growing shrooms is a fantastic and rewarding hobby. You'll need some equipment and patience. See www.erowid.com for all you need.

I beg to differ, it has always been illegal to have dried psilocybin mushrooms (liberty caps) as this is considered a 'preparation', and is thus a class a. But as far as I know, not even this current gov have outlawed fresh liberty cap mushies, after all they grow all over the uk countryside in their millions, its once they dry out they become an issue.pipe-and-slippers wrote:Anything with psilocybin is illegal...
