Jstang live report

Post by jstang »

I arrived this morning an hour early. I still cant figure how the airline did that one, but oh well

I got to my hotel Krasnopolsky and got my room and headed out. I am really glad I was walking around early in the morning because there was no trafic and when the bikes came out, it was gradualy. I wandered aroung and found Barneys. I bought 1gm of laughing budda and rolled up my forst joint. I was sitting by the window watching life go by. I was fascinated by all the bikes and the little kids on the front baskets. I had a huge grin on my face and I realized..... I am finaly here and it is as good as I hoped it would be. I bought 1/2g of Dr grinspoon ( I just smoked it which will explain the ramblings or dirhea of the mouth)

I wandered around for about an hour or 2. I knew I was lost fairly quickly, but I didnt care. I know if I see the A-10 highway I have a problem. I stoped and had a beer at a little place and kept walking. the funny thing was, I hadn't seen any window girls. I finaly broke down and took out my map. I have a hard time reading a map when I am straight. The beer and more of the laughing buda had just consumed made the map useless. Now I sat for a while. for the fist time I noticeded my feet aching so I want to get to the hotel. I head off again. I stoped to look around and get my bearings and then I heard someone say "hey" I turned around and was face to face with a beautiful blonde in a pink bikini. She scared the shit out of me. then I looked around and saw all the red lights. I new my hotel was close by so I went back and rested a while.

There will be more later, but I am heading out[/i]

Yesterday was great. I went out and wandered and smoked. I bought a prebagged 1.5g of white widow at the paradise I got a space cake also. I picked up chinese food and went back to my room. I ate the cake and smoked something. I have a shit load of little bags and I have no clue what they are, except the ones from Barneys. In the end it really doesn't matter.

I rested in my room for a while waiting for the cake to kick in. It felt like it was kicking in so I went for a walk. I wandered through the covered area of the red light district. The combination of loud music, neon lights, and beatiful women reaching out and grabbing you ( ok brushing your shoulder) almost caused a sensory overload. I can't begin to describe how cool that was. I figured that was a good way to end a long day.

Woke up around 10 and set out to find breakfast. I couldn't make up my mind so I just walked. I went to Basjoe, but it was closed. I smoked the last of my laughing buda and walked. I walked for an hour, taking pictures and I wandered by Basjoe. I bought 1g of AK-47. rolled one up and sat out front. I lost track of time and wandered looking for food. My legs felt like lead. The combo of AK-47 and soreness got me. I stopped somewhere and grabed a beer. The beer hit me too hard, then I remembered, I hadn't eaten yet today. As I was walking, I figured out the secret of the bikes. You have to watch out for the red and yellow ones because they are the rentals. The others are ridden by people whop are used to picture taking tourists. I ended up settling on subway.

I think tomorrow I will try the trams out. I will get the 72 hour pass.

Well time for some G-13. Oh yea I bought 1g this morning while I was wandering. I'm gonna smoke it and hit Madame tauseds (haze is kicking in) more to come

Nice!

What did you think of the WW? We saw it all over the place for cheap but never picked any up.

You're getting sore from walking already?? Hit the treadmill, man! Kidding, of course ;) We're fortunate (or UNfortunate) enough to be pretty active people so we were thankful to not have a problem with walking around the entire time. Never had to take a tram but I can definitely see the need as the walk from CS to the Museumplein is a good jaunt for sure. Let us know how you get a long with the trams as we were hesitant to even try them

The secret to bikes is...don't walk in the bike lanes!! :D We found this out quite soon (like immediately upon emerging from CS). Stay as close to the buildings as you can on narrow streets and try to always walk inside the little XXX posts.

When you're hungry and baked, head for either Dampkring to make a purchase and stop at VleminckX for frites (it's literally the next alley north of Dampkring) or Ben and grab a burger at the Buger Bar (which is in the same alley and about 25 yards East)!! Seriously, you HAVE to get a burger from there before you leave. I pride myself on my homemade burgers (as I despise fast food-like flat tasteless patties) and Burger Bar's examples are just as good (if not better ) than the ones I make at home....seriously!

Shit...I'm hungry as hell now!

Sounds like your having a good time man, and that combination of stonedness and walking can definetly make you tired.
