Hello From UpState New York
Hi every one just wanted to stop off and say "Hi" for my first post. Long time lurker first time posting. I had the opportunity to visit Amsterdam about 3 years ago but only for a couple hours but still managed to hit up many good shops. I'm planning a trip back with a couple friends in April and this time for 10 days! Can't wait to get to know you all.

Welcome to the forum.
You have been posted on the April Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town during your stay.
I am sure between now and April there will be a bunch more people
and a few Meet and Greets.
By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

or an email address if you want.

Hey, CK! Another fellow Albany-area resident, eh? Nice!
Hippyman mentioned that we just got back from our trip so we know how excited you are about leaving
Every day we miss the 'dam more and more so we'll definitely be looking forward to your report (if you decide to post one).
We keep hoping and praying that a miracle will happen and soon we'll have the freedoms of Amsterdam in Albany. To answer your question to hippy; yes...yes it IS the closest you can get to Heaven on Earth
You'll find out firsthand not too long from now!
