i dont think i have the time to write a beautiful travelogue like you guys, think it will be more in form of a list... but maybe i will tell some stories, if i remember anything, well see...

what will be the most interesting for the most of you, the weed and the shops:

Barneys:
We were in the Barneys CS, the lounge and in upwtown twice, first day for breakfast and on saturday for lunch. the dealers are always very nice, except for one guy, a french dealer, he was not really helpful and enjoyed it a lot more to have french smalltalk with anyone in the room who talked back to him in his language... weird
the bagels in uptown are very nice, and for lunch we had the pasta salad and the nachos, both very nice and huge amounts...

-Red Dragon: a real indica hitter, strong couchlock, but still communicative. taste and smell was very deep rich earthy

-Red Diesel: beautiful fruity sour smell, the taste compliments the smell, while it gets stronger on the exhale with a nice aftertaste and a high that can be used for really anything, just focus a bit on the abilities you would like to keep

-Dr. Grinspoon: quazey quasary equ sativaey fuckin harsh smell and taste... didnt really like it, but the high was an extreme. it didnt energize me, but that was no surprise, because it was the first pure spliff after 7 hours driving and i was a bit sick to my stomach, but it did wobble my body around and made me think of stupid things for 20 minutes until i ate my bagel... bottomline, i think its too expensive and too hyped but i can understand that some people like to smoke it for its effect.

-G13xHaze: i liked it very much, had an citruscy woody taste with a sweet and strong smell. the high was strong and had a nice buzz, made my head very clear, i think it could be nice for reading, writing or a good conversation. in the verdamper it revealed a nice taste of oregano+rosemary+lemons... unbelievable, but i think i would smoke it in a spliff anyway...

-White Widow: a nice version of the strain. sweet smell and taste, desirable indica stone makes me want to sit and hang around. nothing special, but a better choice than sweet tooth or morning glory

-Sweet Tooth: smells unbelievable sweet + looks rather nice but there is no sweetness in the taste after all and it was less powerful than any other strain at barneys

-Morning Glory: sweet dank smelling little super tight nugs, very hard. it has a pungent fruit taste but is a bit rough on the throat

Grey Area:
What can i say... a hole in the wall with friendly dealers, alot of americans and really nice buds. went in the first day and asked to see and smell the ecsd, while smelling i discovered a nice shaped bud(the one on the pic) with tons of chrystals, so i asked if he would sell me "that one". it was crowded, so whe decided to move on, we had a smoke on sunday, when it was completely empty

-East Coast Sour Diesel: extreme sour smell and taste. the first tokes on a spliff have an extra sour grapefruity taste, and the smoke always sticks my throat together like the smoke contains honey or glue, i really enjoyed it. has a very pleasant twisted stone feeling to it

-Grey Berry: nice fruity rich smell, that only reminds a tiny bit of berries or grapes, the taste is not very rich, not even in the verdamper. it has a light indica stone

-OG Kush: super lemony "green" taste and an indica stone with massive downforce  ... i would love to smoke this strain every evening before going to bed

-Chocolope: my Gf and me discovered that it had a light minty flavor, and i thought about an hour or so that it reminds me of something i ate as a kid, and as my GF said it tasted a bit like the "after eight" mint that comes in chocolate, i knew that was it... very funny, i liked the taste very much. the high was soaring and strong uplifting

Homegrown Fantasy:
i like the shop, have been there a lot of times some years ago, this time we just popped in to get some of the bigtime hyped cheese. i thought i would go back to get the cheese dust, if i like the cheese, but i didnt. it is a strong indica i think, but i dont like the taste. the smell is somehow cheesy, indeed. maybe i should have tried their og kush, because as i wanted to buy some more of it in GA on sunday, they didnt have it on the menu anymore (but then the LA Women was back... didnt try)

Bagheera:
was crowded, didnt stay. the dealers where busy, because everytime somebody wanted to see the weed, they pulled out the box, opened it, pulled out a little plastic bag, opened it, let you see... ok, now id like to see anopther strain... ok he closed and tied the bag, put it in the box, ....WTF

i was like "just give me a gram of cheese" and we went off

highlyblessed, i think this should be changed!!

Katsu:
very nice decor outside, inside is ok, too. a nice big table in the front at the window, another big table in the back, and in the back room another 2seater with a led-lighted verdamper, that was our fav spot. very nice woman behind the counter, chatted with her a while

-Flower Power Special Hash: no smell, not much taste, but strong. my batch was very dried out

-Cristal Clear: very soft dark hash, very deep rich oily taste, super strong

-Northern Lights: nice sweet but strong taste, very stoney but no couchlock, we still managed to walk

-Black Widow: very intense fruity smell without any sweetness, i think its a very special smell. the taste is different but still very special and deep fruity and earthy.

Noon:
nothing special here, the noon has always the same everyday customers... just went in to get blueberry to test the current bacth, and i was looking for the white melon, wich i loved 4 years ago... maybe its really good, and thats why it is ALWAYS sold out.

-Blueberry was nice in smell and looks (and effect), but this time the taste just lacked: no sweetness, no berries or fruits, the taste was just harsh and tickled my throat, i hate that. effect was strong indica but communicative.

watch out for more
