Hey there funbags,

I've posted before about this place but here goes again - do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to stay - I was going to say somewhere better to stay, but to be honest, sleeping on the train lines would be a better bet than that shithole.

They were supposed to be "doing up" the place when I stayed there a while back, but there was no sign of this at all - or if they were working on the place, I'd hate to have seen it beforehand. :x

Security there was non-existent, my door wouldn't lock from inside, there was one working toilet between three floors and one shower for those same three floors. The staff were surly at best, and damn rude the rest of the time... when I reported the thefts from my room, the cretin just shrugged at me.

I'm not one for hostels, but that would be better and cheaper than this dump. I've yet to read a good review of the place, and I don't expect to either.

Sorry if I seem a bit negative, but this really is the worst that Amsterdam has to offer - I've stayed at plenty of different places over the last 15 or so years, and this took the prize for the biggest waste of money and time...

Aside from that, have fun!
