Glad to see your doing fine Andy, and enjoying Prague. Have to agree with you Andy Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The view over the city from the palace is spectacular, I think that's the same area as the park?

It's been a few years since I visited and I think the prices have gone up quite a bit in recent years. I can remember going to a bar come restaurant type of place really big room full of locals. Me and the Mrs had about 5 beers each I had a wild boar steak Mrs had goulash and it didn’t come to a £10.

The service in there is the best I have ever had, the place was packed with people eating and drinking after work yet my glass was never empty. There was a guy at the bar just constantly pouring beers and lining them up and as soon as a waiter saw your glass was getting low he was over asking you if you wanted another one, 30 seconds later it was on the table, awesome service and some of the best beer in the world as well.

hey hey andy,
good to hear you're alive and well.. WoW free of course... :D
prague sounds like a really wonderful place to see...

we'll have to grab a saturday and catch up. it's nice to hear that you've moved out of the RLD and to a quieter neighborhood... I dunno about you, but after living here for a few months, even outside of the dam and comming in, the novelty of the Red light district wares off.. It feels small, overpriced, crowded and to be completely honest... a bit cliché.

What are some of the good shops over by the vondelpark area? I could use some variation in my supply... Leiden has some good strains, but of course theres always more to find :D

P.S.- I changed my phone number, I'll PM you my new number... send me a text and we'll hang out

peace,
hippy

It's not so much about the good shops, I just tend to buy and fly these days. Much nicer to sit in my flat and have a smoke watching a dvd or something, maybe cooking some dinner, rather than sitting in a CS all the time. For weed i'd recommend:

De Kroon:
No, not the one in centrum, this one is probably De Kroon II or something, but not in name on the shop door. They sell Mexican Haze, very good quality, €8.50g.

't Guirenest (The Vultures Nest):
This is my 'local' and the one I spend most money at, I also stop in there on a sunday evening to catch Top Gear and MOTD2 when they are on :) They sell Cheese Haze €12.50 1.3g, and Edelweiss €12.50 2g. That's my high and stone sorted out in one shop :)

There are some others, but I can't remember names :) Also just up the road, I would recommend for tourists to try out Boere Jongens and coffeeshop Bij just around the corner. They both have big menus and really good quality gear. Both shops are done up very nicely as well :) Bit more expensive, but the weed is good.

^^Nice to see your fitting into the Amsterdam lifestyle and not just living it up in CSs all day. Of course with a little touch of English TV  8)

Stay safe

hey hey andy man!
good to hear again from ya...

sounds like some good buys you recommend there. I've heard about the mexican haze but never tried it...sounds like quite a deal at 8.50 per gram...

also i'm really intrigued with the cheese haze... does it have that strong cheese smell and taste? or a bit of a haze mixed in there?

I'm still getting over a cold... so one of the next few weekends I'll head on down to the Dam and we can chill... and if it's nice weather we could smoke a spliff in the park...

peace,
hipy

Yeah MH posted their menu, and from what I can read, it's pretty extensive. I think it's a buy/fly only though.

I've been told by a friend that lives over there that the White Choco from Boerejongens is a top smoke and only costs about €7 a gram.
