Still alive 'n' kickin', just with less time on my hands and I don't work a job where I have nothing to do for 12 hours except read forums anymore.

Nice variety on that mix, Like An Eagle is a favoutite of mine, I got a single sided version on Casablanca - Did you know that Dennis Parker was a porn star and LAE was almost a novelty single off the back of his fame.
What's the Double Dutch Bus bootleg mix from?
The We Love Mondays is the brand new one sided release right?

You know your records, Blackshore and I'm glad you've enjoyed the mix.
We Love Mondays is the new one sided release, it's like a re-edit of the one Greg Wilson plays (that I forget the name of right now) so it's a re-re-edit of Wrote For Luck.
The copy of Like An Eagle i have is also on Casablanca but it's backed with DC La Rue - Let Them Dance which nearly made it onto this.
The bootleg is a new-ish repress. DJ Mo & Mixmaster Irv, it's backed with a terrible re-edit of Gino Soccio's Dancer. I love Gino's stuff (new stuff excluded under his elektrowhatever guise) and Dancer is a firm favourite but the edit is terrible, it was bought solely on the back of the Double Dutch Bus re-edit.
Are you a DJ, Blackshore?

The mix of Wrote For Luck I was thinking of was Vince Clarke and it's on Factory, unsurprisingly.
The re-re-edit I've played there has all the same hooks etc and is pressed on 180g vinyl. I love frisbee platters

Here's the copy of Double Dutch Bus I have.

It was a test pressing back at the end of the '90s and I wasn't too concerned with it at the time but it's grown on me and the repress was much cheaper. It's not the sort of record I'd pay top dollar for but it works well there, I thought. The mix of Dancer is truly awful, if that was good I'd have gone out my way to get the test pressing. Avid collector of rare vinyl, me.
I fuckin' love geeky record chat!

It's meant to be good to decorate to, it's meant to be good to do anything to. It's good for walking, also. You don't so much walk as strut down the street.
Can't say I'm a fan of BV3000 but that's a decent enough tune in that I didn't rush to turn it off but if it didn't have Curtis Mayfield on it, it would sound pretty pedestrian. It's quite nice, but not the sort of thing I'd break heads to get. Perhaps a little fast for my tastes. I do have a collection of some pretty pacey disco numbers but I much prefer it slow and sexy.
Glad you're enjoying the mix, thanks for listening!

My wife will love it and can't wait to let her hear it. With music i'm too haphazard with no fluidity which explains things

i hear something and i think cool thats like this and there is probably only a loose connection, thats why i am no DJ , no confluence

It's all good, you don't need to be a DJ to enjoy good music, just human
I'm just glad it's made somebody's day that bit more tuneful!
