I'm sorry, we won't be able to make 4/20 this year. Our flight from JFK to Amsterdam has been canceled and the next available flight isn't until Saturday the 24th.

The owner of the apartment has been real understandable and won't charge us since we can't make it and I'll get my money bank from Delta, so at least we're not out any cash.

Since we still have two weeks off from work, we'll use the money, rent a RV and go see our Son and his Family in Oregon. He just harvested 23oz of Lemon Diesal, Kali Mist and Lavender.....it's not Amsterdam, but at least we'll being smoking something different when we get there.

See you next year. :)

Really sorry to hear about this guys.
All the planning that went into this by hestia, and Az and lemming and all the others involved.
I know if I had been planning on going I'd be going nuts now.
Those of you who did make it need to make it memorable.

Hey all... just got back from a trip down south, not affected obviously by the ash.

Just wanted to say the Mrs and I are feeling for all those affected by this situation... hope there's a way you can all enjoy the Dam as soon as possible.

Best wishes!

A major bummer. I'll have to put off my first visit to Amsterdam until later this year. :(

420 is over for me :-(, well spending it in the Dam is. I was going to make a last minute dash to the ferry and drive the rest of the way, but i needed to find 2 more people to fill up my car!. plus others like Twitchaldinho, Lampshade, Kermit and Lemming also are not gonna make it because of the Volcano I have re-booked my flights for monday next week, and if they are cancelled i'll have to get a refund from Easyjet and rebook for mid-june!!!.

Hope every1 has a good Damless 420 :-)...

Why couldnt this thing erupt a week later!!!... i mean, i wouldnt have minded being stranded in Amsterdam for a week or 2 :-)
Excuse me while I light my Spliff.....

gutted
my re-book for wed now been cancelled till next & last attempt on saturday
should add tho that expedia & klm have been outstanding, other than some understandably lengthy phone ringing they have changed flights & hotels twice now with no extra charges & we dont even have insurance (typical first time without insurance)
fingers crossed & best of luck to all

Will do. its a real shame so many people had to cancel their trip. Those of us in amsterdam will surely make our own 'volcanic eruption' in your honor :D

Is there still any meetups happening?

Seems like flights are leaving the UK on wednesday, so if that mean volcano shuts up I'll be in the dam til sat...

Are there many more people moving their stay a few days forwards? If so, perhaps a new meet up schedule would be in order.
