Dark Globe - 1e Hulp it is! Ordered our tickets for the big match today, so the die has been cast! We got tickets in the best section figuring we'd be a bit safer in the ritzy seats vs. the party seats behind the goal. Of course we still have to get in and out of the game, don't we?

!! UPDATE !!
We received an email yesterday from Greenhouse Effect..."due to unforseen problems" the Global Fusion room is NO LONGER AVAILABLE!!
(or, for that matter, any other apartment in the same building). We were like, holy shit - what are we going to do? But the email included some options including 1001 Arabian Nights, Dutch Touch, Retro & China Town (which we chose).
I'm happy to report the staff at GE were REALLY cool about this (I'm assuming the building was sold and no lease was in place) and they gave us a really good rate for our stay. We were happy - not just because our options ARE few and far between at this stage (less than 2 weeks) but because our previous visit was certainly enhanced by the GE's vibe and customer service (not to mention FAT discount!). We look forward to staying on the Nes - a handy location and we've yet to stay in that area.
On ANOTHER note - my boss has started encouraging the transfer over to Amsterdam. Comments like "we're not trying to get rid of you but it just makes sense!" and mentioning the other bosses I know who've lived over there. With the perfect job, it's getting harder and harder to say no! Needless to say, we'll be keeping a SERIOUS eye on the "living here" aspect of our vacation - with a little neighborhood help from Marco & Soul Rider!
12 days and we depart!! First smoke, I imagine, will be a GE hasj choice...
Dark Globe, see ya Monday 2pm at 1e Hulp (and, again, anyone else who wants to join in!) and Marco we'll touch base and get a convenient time closer to the visit!
