Hi All,
My first post on the forum. 1st trip to Amsterdam was in August this year with the mrs..I'm 31 now, can't believe I left it so long, London is hardly far!
On the flip side I liked it so much I'm going back November 23-26 to see what the CC is all about - any advice from seasoned Cup travellers would be very welcome.
Props to Lemming for this unique and brilliant site, great forum & I love the directory & maps too.
Legalize it!

Welcome to the forum! I went to the cup in 2003 and 2008. It's cold in the Amsterdam but is one of the best times to visit. Yeah the coffeshops will be crowded but some of the best bud of the year is around. I would read some of the trip reports from '08, if you haven't, to get a better idea. Hopefully we'll get to meet up for a smoke in November!
Peace,
Balou

Thanks guys, feeling very welcome already.
Balou1999 - the cold weather will be no problem, London is hardly tropical that time of year either! I am not really into getting a judge's pass, but sure as hell want to try some new bud available for the Cup and check out some events. Will check the 08 trip reports - thanks, and would be great to meet up for that smoke!
Kermit - what up frog?! Cheers, totally looking forward to it. staying in Oud Zuid, so hopefully will be able to beat the crowds to Greenhouse Tolstraat. Strangely couldn't find the place in August, walked the whole length of the street - maybe shut that day?

Kermit, i will be heading to Tolstraat from the Museum Quarter, but I am determined to find it this time! Will try to hit the Lounge too....as for Mellow Yellow, went there twice in August, tried the Mako, Amnesia & Blueberry - all very good - any other recommendations from the menu?

Like the saying goes cuz, you can take the man out of East london, but you can't take East London out the forum...something like that!
I'm from E17, via Stepney E1 for the last 11 years, back in E17 since March - the place has changed!
Cheese sounds the nuts, I have heard similar prices from my man round here who doesn't bother getting big bits 'cos of the price. I hear kids are shotting it at £20 for about 2g bags but still aint smoked any. The punk I have been getting recently is very po - I guess a strong Indica, reeks, crumbles up nicely, cured properly and lasts well in the fridge! 75,sometimes 80 notes on the half. Got some more tonight, a bit different but similar smooth taste, strong stink and sleepy buzz. Will try to post some pics of both.
Take it easy liquidswords, nice to meet you too, my mrs is in E11 too - keep reppin' the hood!
