Baseball fans in Amsterdam

Tonight is Netherlands vs. Nicaragua at the Amsterdam Pirates stadium. I went last week and it was loads of fun.

alot of players from dutch Caribbean countrys play baseball. curacao and such.

Yes, although in this tourney the Netherlands Antilles had their own team. They won last night, damn can they hit homers. Lots of fun, sort of the atmosphere of a AA minor league game. Perfect antidote to the occasional homesickness.

yea im not as into baseball as i once was. although i still love my seattle mariners and sf giants. ichiro hit a walk off hr against mariano rivera the other night.
