I went to the Post Office last night and asked about the low pound at the moment and the woman at the exchange desk told me to wait it out until last minute as it is due to pick up in October - November. She said it was so low due to the Summit or something but that will be over soon and the Pound will once again power back up. Far cry from the first time when I got 1.49 for my Pound... ahhh the good days.

Yep, somethings are just worth so much more than 'money'... :D
:D :) :D
A few days in Amsterdam is certainly worth it.... Its our neighbours from across the pond who should really be feeling agrieved about the exchange rate!!!.

USA things are much cheaper, here in uk we get ripped off on daily basis. Food, Fuel, Electrical goods etc etc so It's only fair we have some kind of economical advantage.
