I get cranky and sometimes mean I don't have my pre sleep smoke. I realize I act like a dick but I also get like that if I cut caffeine or don't get enough sleep. So for me there is a downside to stopping but it's no worse than caffeine withdrawal and goes away after a day or two of not smoking.

agree. me and many friends get aggressive for no reason if we dont get our daily smoke. i have noticed this with many smokers so far.

Any mind altering drug is dangerous, even Caffine. Walking across the road is dangerous. Hell we might as well lock ourselves in a cupboard from we're born to stop all possible danger.

Is not whether Cannabis is dangerous is the issue, all drugs are, its whether the dangerous to the indivitual and society in relation to cannabis warrent the current legisation attributed to it. I dont think it does.

If you get aggressive for no reason if your not smoking, then i think that may be more of a issue with your personality than the drug itself.

probably it is the personality, but canabis is changing the personality and just the feeling of not toking produces stress.

the problem you`Re talking about is not cannabis-addiction but stupidity....if I am not able to handle a drug, I wouldnt take it, its as simple as that. nobody NEEDS drugs, only the people who are already addicted to some kind of drug.

happydaze777 wrote:addiction is so much more than 'withdrawal symptoms'. In fact I would argue that physical withdrawal is the easiest face of addiction as it is over in a matter of days. It is the mental aspects of addiction that can cause massive harm and have life long effects.
Im not saying cannabis is very addictive but i am saying you never smoked heroin for a daily bases for like a year and then tried to stop. you would absolutly just wish for a mental kind of addiction lol.

also i am very much an addict of cannabis. i love the plant and i smoke it daily, usually even b4 breakfast. i smoked for 2 years doing about 2 grams a day. that is very expensive if you cant grow for a special reason. and with hasch prices on the rise, i pay way to much for soap hasch than i realy should.
but it is very hard for me to stop buying. i have the cash and im bored and i sometimes also get annoyed easeli. Of course if all my money would run out and i couldnt buy any more i would stop and eventually would these "bi effects" stop ..

so it can be addictive, its probably more addictive in places where the drug laws is very hard such as in sweden than it maybe is in places that have a more normal view on soft drugs (canada maybe?)

and i actually have a friend who stoped using heroin after an intense 2 years, jumped in on a programme that gave him methadone for his addiction in return that he piss for them every morning every day of the year so they can see he dont smoke pott. he jumped out of that programme 1 week ago since it didnt do him any good in the long and only held him back. so i see his current opiate addiction he has right now. and im very lucky im only addicted to hasch.

It`s all personal experience , i know a few people who`ve had mental problems, which has been brought on by cannabis. It ain`t good for some folk with mental issues.
Having recently had to deal with someone who goes nutty when he smokes leads me to think that cannabis can be dangerous, and it`s important to acknowledge this and not always glamourise it.

im sorry but you are just a retard. you are not able to have an impartial look on this issue. therefore i think talking to you is like talking to a pile of dumb. i follow your retarted posts for a while but this just shows that you are not willing to admit. maybe your addiction is pushing you this far, maybe you are just the regular german potsmoker. who knows?

i think most of us smoke regularly if not daily. think all these people just do it because of enjoyment? i dont think so. most of us are addicted without taking any notice of it. i dont get immediately aggressive if i dont smoke, but the tendency is to argue about things that dont matter otherwise. if you say this has never happened to you, you are a liar or just dumb. it is not about needing it physically, but still there is a certain demand for the daily dose of pot.

Fristl off, people who suffer from addiction mostly have a predespition to do so.SO not all people who start using cannabis or other drugs will be come addicted. Though there are some execptions to this (ie crack meth etc). But I have know people who can and do smoke cigarettes (the MOST Addictive of all drugs) and are able to stop without any withdrawl symptoms. But this is the execption rather than rule. Disclaimer I am not advocating for addiction. I also believe that teenagers should not start smoking herb at a young age. Bc they are not fully developed and cannbis can cause harm to them. I would argue though if one has to be addicted to something Cannabis is the way to go. There is no toxicity and it less harmful the ANY other "drug" even coffee causes harsher withdrawls than the herb. You can grow it yourself thus saving money. It is also is a medicine frist and foremost. SO IMO there are many more pros than cons from smoking pot.

only if you dont smoke it, smoking anything including cannabis is carcinogenic, yeah you can use a water pipe which cleans it alot, but its still cancerous no matter which way you look at inhaling smoke, if you legitimatley wish to consume cannabis healthily, it has to be eaten/drank
